@tiffmaxee He ate maybe 1/4 of a can. He’s alert, he’s walking around me headbutted me talking to me. He even followed a laser pen around pawing at it. And then back to sleep.
 
He’s still not eaten much which is making me feel unsettled. Even tried giving him tuna salad I figured he couldn’t resist but is
 
Test 30 minutes from the last test. Before he came out of remission was appetite an issue? As long as he eats a teaspoon or two that’s enough to help him surf. It doesn’t take much.

No He’s usually hungry. The snacks + 2-4 are usually the only times he’s not always interested. At am +9 he’s usually circling for food hungry. And he’s always ate his PS meal. I
 
You might want to invest in a digital baby scale. Much easier than weighing on a human one. They are between 30-50 on Amazon. Worth every penny for me with older cats and kittens. Now I weigh mine often to make sure they never get overweight.
 
Did your vet ever say what it should be? Can you feel his ribs? Max was a large cat so his weight was best if 13-14. My two girls are small so I keep them under 9.
 
As long as he’s not too skinny he likely dies t need as much food. You could probably even let him free feed. Just keep him hungry in case he’s low.

Free feeding is a little challenge. We have 2 small dogs and 4 other cats.so I guess for now we just chalk it up he’s not hungry today. Hopefully will come back later today

I really don’t think he’s very pleased with the staggered feeding it’s just the vibe that I’m getting from him so maybe that’s it he’s protesting and acting mad lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
