Yesterday was another blue and yellow day, a classic Neko cycle, yellow bouncette variation.

Looks like Neko did a little visit to Sweden, along with Zener today. That's a few cycles in a row now of blue bookends with a yellow tinge in the middle. She must have a craving for gravlax or lutfisk today. :lol: :lol: Sorry kiddo, menu tonight is boring chicken.

The weather here is what I'd call misty. Gray, a bit foggy, occasionally drizzly. Not really enough rain for the gardens and not little enough that I can paint outside. Neko did go out on the deck and stare at the weather for a while. Cats are sleeping in the solarium (where else? :lol: ) and I'm catching up on indoor stuff. I managed to finishing replacing the fabric on one of the rowing club boat slings - it's a job that requires putting the sewing machine on the floor and DH holding the sling upside down at just the right angle. Replacement parts are $70 from the manufacturer, so I just saved the club some $$.

Nicely done, Neko! You and Zener are really enjoying your Swedish vacation. :-D :-D Wow, Wendy, you're handy! Yay on the rain, I mean, oh, too bad you can't paint today. :lol: :lol:

It looks like an almost blue surf for Neko today. I like how she goes out to stare at the weather. :lol:

What a nice blue slide into the evening. I wonder what Neko is planning tonight. :? She spent over an hour outside this afternoon, in spite of the mist. I was hacking away old bamboo in the back yard while she supervised under cover of the trees.

@Rhiannon - Sewing part with DH was only a 10 minute job. It's just awkward because of the collapsible aluminium legs that get in the way. Monty?

@Liz - Never been to Sweden personally - might have to go there now. :lol: I didn't show you my quilts when you were here, I enjoy sewing, and challenges. Yes, darn that rain. :lol: :lol: More like mist actually, not serious enough and I see blue sky peaking out now.

@Carla - If I'd skipped that +4, might have been an all blue day. :-D Kitties are used to dry, just wait until winter. :shock:

We did go to Sweden once, when we used to travel. :lol: It was the 650th anniversary of Stockholm's founding and they had a street fair. Very cool.

I kind of like the weather like today because I don't have to worry about the apartment getting too hot for the cats while I'm gone, but it's getting harder for them to find a nice sunny spot to sunbath.

I have fond memories of reindeer chips, cloudberries, and aquavit.
Neko, if you go 7 points lower you can leave Sweden and go surfing in the lagoon.

That's quite a slide, Neko! You sure are one for bringing them home at the 12th hour, aren't you? :lol:

Your Mama Bean is very handy - we could use her here on the ranch of you don't go to Sweden - come to the Central Coast instead. It's grey & misty alot here, too - you probably won't know you've left!

@Liz - I've been to Copenhagen so got close to Sweden. Street fair sounds very cool. Not too many blue and green flags - Sierra Leone tonight?

@Mariko - Tonight she delivered the :mrgreen: . Pretty low PMPS for her, so I thought she'd go down some. The air was still reasonably warm today, and a bit muggy, but not too hot. :-D

@Ella - Reindeer chips? Bet my cats would love those. Neko made it to the lagoon, I hope Rusty made it too.

@Suzanne - I once recorded a nadir of +13 for Neko. :shock: Like a number of acrocats, she often nadirs late so the slide isn't a surprise. Neko would love a ranch, lots of room to roam. We get a lot more rain than you do though.
