What can I say about today? ohmygod_smile I'z fine mom - go have fun at a movie or sumtin like dat. Looks like a permission slip to me.

Neko was all full of purrs when we got up for rowing. She flopped belly up for tummy rubs and kept on purring all through her test. Happy camper through TFS/acupressure then a couple of hours later the whining started so I knew she was zooming up. Poor kitty. She's curled up in her little bed in the solarium, head buried, biding time to onset when her numbers will come down.

Healing vines out to JD, Zener, Gracie and any other kitties and beans in need.

Wendy, I notice Neko often has a +3 spike. I noticed last night with Cobb his +3 was 286 after being 157 at PMPS. Is that because of the later onset? Anyway to counteract that spike? Obviously I wouldn't give R with a 157 reading...

Hi Suzanne - yes it's the later onset. And often you are feeding them just after nadir when the insulin is weaker so that can increase the zoom factor. A number of people on Levemir do use R to squish it. You could try a +1 test if PS is too good to do R with.

I hope Neko comes back down quickly. I hate it when the higher numbers make them feel bad.

Yes, Wendy. Facial shape, features. The girls do look a bit alike. Neko, though, has such a magnificent bib. Kind of glad Polly doesn't have one that luxurious or I'd be plucking dried food out of it all the time. Toothless kitties can be messy!

And we're taking ever longer practice runs in the car. She doesn't like it, but she puts up with it. No fussing. And I've tried getting her comfortable in her travel cabana. Her sister likes it! Polly, not so much.....yet.

At least she's down to blues, though higher than my taste for PMPS (which is pretty close to her nadir).

@Amy, Carla, Liz, Marilyn, Molly, Elise - DH and I like to hit the matinee when Neko gives a permission slip. We saw How to Tame your Dragon 2. Not our first choice, but a fun movie. DH ended up having to do some last minute coaching this morning cause our head rowing coach wrecked his back this morning. He was crawling from the boat onto the dock after our session. :shock: So, we couldn't get to one of the earlier movies we wanted - but I got to get in some btb. :cool: Neko does feel better now she's back in the blues.
Marilyn - good to hear the test trips are helping. Neko is SO much better at travel after her CSU adventure.

Sadly, I don't remember the last movie I saw in the theater, maybe the second Hunger Games movie? Oh well....glad you liked it and glad you got some btb AND got to go out!

A nice blue cycle for Neko- oops, I almost missed that stinky pinky! But she is back on track at +9, good girl Neko! :-D And wasn't that nice you got to see a movie- I couldnt tell you the last show I saw in the theatre... :roll:

A movie in a theatre? Ummm. I think the last one I saw was a James Bond. Maybe the first Daniel Craig one. We do DVDs a lot. Our collection would amaze you. It's taking over the house.

Lovely blues for Neko today. Are you sure that stinky reading wasn't a bad strip? If I were you, that would be my story! :lol:
