Good Morning, LL!
Yesterday

I'm callin' it... WE ARE ON AN OTJ TRIAL!
+47.5 90. He has had SUCH an awesome curve lately. I was nervous about his 117 @PMBG last night, but three hours later he brought that sucker down! I am SO PROUD of him!
Let this be a lesson to the newbies... I've been treating Mr. Howell for TWO YEARS on a prescription DM dry cat food diet, and 20 days later on wet food here we are. :-D

Wow, I go away for the weekend and come back to great news! Yay Mr. Howell! Bandit is doing an OTJ trial right now, too, so it looks like they may be getting to the falls at the same time. :-D

Thank you so much everyone! We could not have gotten here without all of your advice and support. I am so grateful for all of you!
+51 42. :RAHCAT
Unfortunately we're not out of the clear yet... I posted last week that Mr. Howell had somewhat of a gimpy hind leg. Well, it's still gimpy. I'm worried that it's some neuropathy damage from his sustained high BG levels. I've been supplementing his meals once a day with 800mcg B12, but I'm concerned it's not enough. It seems to only be in his hind right leg; he sort of holds it up when it walks, but it's usually only noticeable when he sleeps on it and gets up later. He can also still jump onto our high bar stool chairs in the kitchen, which is kind of a leap. Still tons of energy, still runs up and down the halls, I just notice that he does not put much weight on that leg.

That 42 earns him a decerase....
Oh wait...he's at 0u ! ! !

Regarding the leg, Have you felt his paw/pads to see if he has anything stuck in there that might be hurting him? I don't know how crazy Mr. Howell gets, but a couple times BK has hurt his leg from zooming around here and sliding into things at 100mph.

Could the problem with his leg be arthritis rather than neuropathy? My Mario has arthritis, and he definitely has some gimpy days with his hind legs.

Lookin' good, Mr H!!
