It seems that Mr. Liver wanted to make a statement yesterday, and so he did, around Mannie's +9, taking the poor boy from a nice low level blue to an ugly high end pink. :roll: Ok Mannie's we all know you have one, so time to put that guy to rest, and get back to business. We start this morning where we left off last night - a nice blue! Excellent work Mannie - keep it up. :-D cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. My youngest DS stopped by for a visit last night. He and Mannie have always been best buds. DS loves to mess with Mannie's Nanners. :o and had them stacked one on top of the other... And Mannie, not to be outdone by his trickery, came to investigate, deciding that this was meant to ruffle his fur, and no way would be cave. :cool: He laid next to this stack and propped his head on top of the stack, being very careful not to knock it over. :lol: :lol: Score: DS 1, Mannie 1. That had to have been uncomfortable, but he stayed there, dozed off, and the stack never did fall. :shock: :cool: :lol: :lol: We had a good test feed shoot this AM, greeted with purrs by Mannie, as he does every morning. I never have to call him or fetch him for test, he just always shows up, waits while I get things ready. Now if he wold just be as cooperative when it comes to the auto feeder... sheshhhh... that all went to the civvie, once again, as it does every morning. I had hoped that he would use it without coaching or reminding that it is his when it opens, to free up time on days when I don't have to monitor alot. but noooooooooooooooo. his majesty would rather be served. oh well... we keep at it. We still have no civvie whacking! :shock: :shock: :o - what is up with that???? Kitty choir, aka my backup alarm clock, made an appearance this morning.. good thing too. well... normalcy in MannieLand, life is indeed good.

Have a great day everyone! Yard work day here... I had hoped to go on a hike, but it is raining in the mountains.... so decided that I really do need to spend some time in the yard, before it is a jungle and no longer a yard. :roll:

Our yard is already a jungle. Next year we will have to do something about it! Great story about your DS, Mannie, and the pile of nanners. We have rain today, too, and so it is fortunate that the paddle was postponed until tomorrow.
Really nice start for you today, Mannie. Hang onto those blues and greens today.

Hi Iorwen - hey thx. I keep thinking I should make some sort of blog or whatever on Mannie and those silly nanners. Never a dull moment there. :-D And so far Mr Liver has been out back in his place. Go Mannie!

Hi Michelle, I agree with Iorwen, with writing childrens' books about Mannie and his nanners. You would be so good at it. How funny with DS and Mannie. There's no sharing when it comes to the nanners, says Mannie, nada! So nice to see how Mannie came down to blues, looking good today. Everyone seems to have rain today, and we are overcast, but it is supposed to get up to almost 80 today, but probably humid! I prefer it a little cooler, but I'll take it with no complaints. Hope you tackle the yard work today and reward yourself with a white mocha coffee drink.

Hi Mannie, I'm up for anything today, something relaxing like the desert or someone's pool. Wonder if Gracie and Tobey's pool is open. See you soon, Maggie

Got to laugh at his stubbornness refusing the auto-feeder. But you may 'serve' him at your leisure. ohmygod_smile

Morning Ann, and Miss Maggie - you guys are too kind... but I really have entertained the idea of compiling, someplace, all these stories... if only for remembrance sake. That was fun last bight - Mannie was his best bud when DS still lived at home: inseparable. It i fun to watch them interact when DS stops by. -- yep, nice recovery today - that was good to see. -- so far the rains have held off here at home, just very overcast. Maybe that's good: then I have no excuse for ignoring the jungle.... :lol: :lol:

Hey CD! Nope - never fell over... stacked 6 high. :lol: :lol: :lol: :cool: It started to lean when he put his head on top, but never fell over... Go figure... -- and I know on that darn auto feeder. The whole point of that thing was to give me a few extra hours in the morning when I knew hen just needed to be fed, no tests really needed, so I could get out early for my distance hikes. darn cat! nooooooooooo , his majesty likes to be served. What is so funny is that the civvies now know what is in it, so they wait... and when he doesn't show - they gobble it up. There was a time when I first got it he never missed an opening. one day he stopped. darn stubborn cat!

Hi Lisa - it was funny. my DS did take a few photos - I am hoping that he will send them to me so I can post them here. Paws crossed!
