Rumor had it that The Blue Mannie Group was performing LIVE at Tucker's OTJ party, and they hope for a repeat performance today at Karre's! What a nice day yesterday for Mannie - I love these blue cycles.... :-D :-D Well done Mannie! Maybe some greens today? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie had a great day yesterday. It was sunny and warm, we got some breezes too. He spent alot of time outdoors, checking the perimeter, patrolling his yard, making sure everything was as it should be. I had to hunt him down a couple of times... I know he doesn't leave the yard, but he has found a new spot that he can disappear into. I call and look and peek, and no Mannie.... nailbite_smile About 5 minutes later he will stroll into the house with that "Well.... I'm here so what did you want?" look. :shock: :roll: :roll: Sheshhhhh.... You gotta love it. Yesterday at PM shot time I had gathered him up, and had to pass the nanner pile on the way to test. What was so funny was that Elsa took that moment to play with one of his nanners. :o :shock: I could feel his body tense up. :lol: :lol: So we did the test, told him he was all done and he bolts into the living room to reclaim that nanner. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Elsa must have heard him coming - she was nowhere to be found. smart kitty that Elsa! ;-) ;-) This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was IGNORED by Mannie (sigh....), AND Elsa Ignored it too! :shock: .... Normalcy in MannieLand, xcept for the Elsa part....

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today through Friday. It will be a swim morning, and then wherever the sunny skies lead us - more than likely a river... I will try to get to condos in the evening, it's just to difficult when Nicholas is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your fur kids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! Are we lucky or what! Another OTJ party tonight - for Karre!! WOO HOO !! This is so cool! we get to got o SOUTH AFRICA!!!!!! SWEET! I am soooooooooooooooooooooo excited! OK.... I thinks we have to travel via moonbeam express. Faster than those jet planes and no customs issues, ya know? Ok Kitchen krew - you guys ready? OH! Any kitty can be on the krew - come and join us. It is lots of fun, and you get to sample everything! YUM!! let's roll - we are off to South Africa!!!!! ~~ Mannie

Nice sunny start for Mannie with blue on the horizon. Looks like another nice blue day for the big guy yesterday. Yay! Oh that Elsa! Turnup does the same thing and Tarragon is not amused. Have a great day with DGS!

Morning Michelle and yes, we need lots of ~O) ~O) here, too, and thanks! I think our pets need a kitty version caffeine, too, the way Mags is laying around all the time. That is so funny with Mannie and Elsa with the nanner. :lol: Elsa sure knew she was in hot water messing with Mannie's nanners. :lol: Have a great time with DGS today and look forward to pics.

Mannie, great party last night for Tucker and now another one for Karre in S. Africa. And then Tarragon's birthday. I'll bake something, too, for both parties, one will be a catnip cheesecake. So we'll all hop on the moonbeam express. See ya soon, Mags

Yo Chef Mannie! I've got all the grillin' stuff ready to roll and I got a new bush hat to wear to South Africa. Man, those fuds on the menu look spectacular. The fuds at Tucker's party were fantastic, so we gets to have 2 feasts in a row. Better hide the cimmamum cake until we get to Tarragon's: Tobey might get a whiff of it and then it will be gone!

Hi Michelle,
Great story about Mannie's new hiding place in the garden. Stu used to do that too: he had a favorite dense bush that he would crawl into and we would lose him and be out looking for him all over the neighborhood. Even when we looked into the bush, we couldn't see him a lot of the time!
Have a super fun day with Nicholas today.

Hi guys .. oh we just love those blue days for mannie! I'm so happy he's seeing more of them lately .. he's a lucky guy, to be able to get outside and check out his yard .. my girls are strictly indoor .. but they show absolutely no desire to change that! Have a great day guys!

Hi Michelle. My cats will hide in different places in the house. I'll walk around looking for them and calling them and then I'll find them sitting there watching me never making a sound. It's like a game to them.

Sorry to be late again, Mannie! There were so many good South african desserts to choose from, I see you already gots the Melkterts! So i'm doing Koeksisters. The syrup is chilled and the dough all ready, but I needs lots of kitty paws to do all the braiding! Everyone come early! Oooooo, did you see the recipe for African Obsession? Nicholas and I had a great time at the pool - loves Swimming! We are off to the creek and the beach after I upload the photos and update Mannie. At the moment he's in nap land. Seems the pool wore him out! :razz: :cool: :cool:

Hi Ella - yes (!!) on the garden. I have yet to find where he goes - and I've looked everywhere. it's just like you described with Stu - i know he is right under my nose, but I just don't see him. :shock: :shock: Thanks - DGS time is good - so much fun at the pool!

Hi Devon - Me too - love those blue days. I so agree - it is nice to have them be part of what he does now, more consistently. :cool: DGS's kitties are indoor kitties too - they also have no desire to go out. Mannie fairly good about not wandering, he'll stay close. Elsa though.... aiyeee!!!!

Hi Carla - Love your story on your hiding cats. I think it is so fun when they just look at you after you have spent all that time searching with that "been here all the time" look. :lol: :lol: I think you are right - it is a game to them. Elsa is so funny - she knows when to sneak some nanner time in and when best not to be caught at it. :lol: :lol: Thanks to on DGS time - great so far!!

Nicholas and I had a great time this afternoon - we went to the old standby: Picnic Point Beach which is close to the house. There is a creek there too that is perfect for him. He spent alot of the time running up and down the creek bed, tossing rocks, splashing, just having fun. We ate lunch on the beach. What a great afternoon!

Hi Roni - He did! and I hope he makes it back there tonight. :-D And yes on Elsa - she rally is a sweetie, but every now and then she lets loose, lives a little dangerously. :shock: :cool: :cool: and yes - one has ton make sure that Mannie doesn't catch them!
