Morning ~O) ~O) ~O) I think I will get an icecd one today! Maggie is a little high, but she does free feed overnight and did a CPC of her overnight fuds! Mags did a little deposit of poo, but this time it was only two and a half pebbles and hard poo! She's been off the Lactulose a day and a half and on 1/8 tsp Miralax twice a day. I'll try 1/4 tsp. twice a day and see if there's an improvement. Otherwise, we may need to return to the Lactulose and/or do a combination per the Vet. I'll be in touch with the Vet tomorrow when I E-mail her ss. It looks like our heat and humidity may last a while, as I just caught a quick weather report.
Mags is good otherwise. She has a really good appy and is now stretched across the floor near the a/c!
Sending healing vines to all kitties needing them today.

Come on down Maggie! Good luck on the poo patrol. She has struggled with that lately. Hope the heat doesn't last long and you have a great day Ann!!

The time got away from me. I forgot to set an alarm and then got held up talking to a neighbor when I took out the trash. I didn't think Mags would drop much til the +4!

Thanks Melissa, Michelle and Angela for the visits. I'm feeling drained from the heat this morning and can't seem to wake up. I'll be better after some ~O)
Thanks on the poo good luck. Yes, it's been a struggle with Mags on the constipation. She's not quite over the problem, and I can see where it might be a chronic one. She has been eating well this morning, and the +4 is a nice drop.

Hi guys .. hmmm, with her kinda still struggling in the LB, maybe that is why she has been having some unusual maggie numbers? I am glad that she is showing some pretty blues for you today .. good luck getting it all straightened out with the vet, I know you'll do what is best for her! Have a great day guys!

Awww poor little Mags. I hope you get her on the perfect plan soon, Ann.
She's coming down nicely today, to pretty blues, so she must be feeling okay. :smile:

Poor Mags and her lb troubles, does she seem very bothered by it all?

Not a bad day for Maggie, but those just aren't Maggie numbers we are used to! Maybe once it cools off she'll come back down.

I hope your coffee has kicked in Ann and you aren't so sleepy, maybe a catnap with Mags would do the trick!

Thanks Devon for the visit. Yes, that's the only thing I can think of for her unusual numbers might be the lb issues. Once we learn what really works and then stick to it, we'll be rolling better.

Thanks Pat, it is a couple degrees cooler here today.

Barb & Checkers, she does seem to be feeling good, sleeping a lot but then cats do seem to sleep 21 hours out of the 24 sometimes.

Hi Tracy, the only time she seems bothered is when I try and clean her butt, and then I get a good smackdown, one sided! :lol: Yes, coffee has kicked in. I had to run a couple errands and had a strong coffee and also a diet soda, strange combo.

Nice Blue day...Sorry about the LB problems..I think it may take a few days without the Lactulose &
adjusting to the Miralax... Good that she is eating so well..Hope she will have a easier time tonite

Poor Maggie, I hope you find the right combo soon. It could be the weather too, you guys aren't so used to heat and humidity.

Hi Amy, I guess this is about the same as other days. I have a feeling we'll need to go up a drop soon.

Ann & Tess, I have heard others say the weather affects the kittiy's numbers.

Roni, yes, I think it may just take an adjustment with the Miralax, gradually adding more til we get the right consistency poo! So glad we can talk about these things here. :-D
