Good Morning LL & Happy Hump Day :-D

Leo is doing alright, he finished up his last dose of cerenia last night, i waited a few hours past the full 24 hours to give it to him and he seemed fine, i gave it anyway. He also got a shot of B12, i'm really hoping it works as good as everyone says it work for pancreatitis. I gave it to him while he was waiting for his insulin and supper, i think he thought it was his insulin and he was ripped off in the fuds department, he kept meowing and meowing at me "WTH is this? you gave me a needle now feed me my supper!!!!"

We had a good test, shoot and feed this AM and a bit of outdoor time too. Its really cold here this morning so he didn't venture too far and wanted to come in right away. He finished up his breffis and wanted hugs and cuddles, and is presently sitting beside me purring up a storm.

Back to DGP's today   I have to go back to work tomorrow. I really am hoping and praying that Leo has a good week and this pancreatitis attack is behind us. DGpa calls everyday to find out how he's doing, i hope they both have smooth sailing this week.

Leo has been surfing yellows alot lately, i hope he brings himself into some nice blues today. Tomorrow is the 1 month SRT annifursary and so far he's come down 3.00 units since then :-D Not too shabby!

Have a good day and week everyone :-D

Come on down Leo! You hear that? Mama bean wants some blues k? Too funny on the shot. I can just see the look on his face. "We had a deal. Food comes after shot."

Enjoy the day with your guy before you have to head back. Have a great day Tracy!

Morning Tracy!

Oh wow - has it been a month already since SRT? It seems like it was just yesterday. ;-) It is great to read that his insulin needs are coming down. Way to go Leo! Also very good to read that he is feeling better. I too hope that his pancreatitis is behind him, never to return. It's great that DGp calls daily to check on him. That is so nice! I hope he has a good week there - I am sure he will. Leo - those mousies await!

Love Leo's reaction after getting the one shot. I can so see the face.

Have a great day Tracy. And Leo - think blue, OK?

Re: 8/15 Leo AMPS 268

Ok, Leo... Enough of these higher #s. Time to come on down, and show your Momma Bean some better #s. Or more juice for you. You don't want more juice, do you? Hope you have a good day!

Re: 8/15 Leo AMPS 268

Hi Tracy,
We are sending special vines for a good week for Leo at his DGpa's. It sounds like his pancreatitis flare is on the wane. And it is great that his insulin dose is going down. I, too, am amazed that it has been a whole month since your return from CSU. Where does the time go?
Have a good week at work.

Lots of :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: s

And those cerenia needles are HUGE! Leo, you are such a trooper. He will do fine at DGPs. After all, he's got all those mice to catch. Sending pancreatitis healing vines.

Tracy, I love Leo's condo today, as he seems to be feeling and doing so much better. And he gets to see DGPa this week. So sweet the way DGPa checks on Leo. I hope the B12 kicks in, and the pancreatitis is soon behind him. Enjoy the rest of the day with your sweet baby.

Thanks everyone for stopping by, Leo needs lots of visitors this week so he doesn't get too lonely so all kitties welcome!!!

I gave him about 60 mls of fluids, i just want to make sure he's in tip top shape before going to his grandparents. I have noticed when he's in blues and greens he doesn't eat as much, he's still eaten about 6-7 oz's of food so far but compared to before SRT.....sheesh i'm sure it was almost double that. I also noticed that fluids bring his numbers down a bit too.

Off to pick up a weeks worth of kitty fuds and off to DGP's, i'm sure when i come back and start packing his stuff he's gonna book it for under the bed!

Hey kitties, i'm going to my grandparents place for the week, can we plan for mouse hunting lessons this week and a BBQ? I need some friends over so i don't get too lonely while my bean is gone.

You are still giving him fluids? I was wondering. Have you thought about adding the B12 to the fluids? I know that is done for CRF cats and it would men one less pokie.

Hi Tracy,

I'm so glad to hear Leo is feeling better. You've really had your hands full! I didn't know he was sick with pancreatitis too! Poor baby! It's wonderful that his grandpa is so involved and able to care for him! You're lucky! That sure makes it easier to travel. Have a great vacation. I hope Leo feels better soon and goes blue for you.
