Since Gus and I first came to LL, I have always wanted to say "All 5 Ps in place." Today, Gus joined his civvies playing with their toys. His fur has improved and he is sitting up like a dog (a favorite trick from pre-FD days) when he wants attention. I'm telling myself that the Baytril is working and he's feeling better. Hope everyone else is having a good Monday too.

Aw, great report on Mr Gus!!!

I've never been able to say "5Ps in place", either. I can account for playing, preening, and purring, but with 6 cats and 5 litter boxes, I have to hold onto faith and Trixie's general behavior to count on the other 2Ps are always in place. Either that, or I just need to move into "the litter box room" - not!

Very nice AMPS for Gus too! Looks like he's got some blues in the future for him too.

Tracy, yep. Gus sits back on his hind legs, upright. He did this regularly until he began feeling bad when his FD began, before I knew abou it. I just figured he was getting older and that was why he stopped. He sits like that and reaches out for the human nearest to him. He does that when he wants to be pet. I haven't seen that behavior in a long time! He has recently been climbing stairs too. I usually carry him down just because I baby him. So, for now, I'm just enjoying his good health and not looking for a reason.

what a great Gus report! GO GUS! It is so awesome to read about Gus returning to the things he used to do before FD. Wonderful, isn't it? :-D

hooray for all the P's! I love reading that a cat's old behaviors are returning.

I see some nice changes happening on Gus's spreadsheet too!
 
Gus would be glad to do a video presentation for you all. I'll ask my DD if she would shoot one for me. She's responsible for Gus having a picture in his condo. He's asleep under the computer desk right now, but I asked him before and he said "Yes" :lol:
