Happy Caturday to all,

Very late posting today, nearly 11.00 pm at night and only just checking in. Not such a good day for Crystal numberwise, gave her 15uR at both AMPS and PMPS but looks like an dose increase of the R might be on the cards for tomorrow if she is still yellow in the morning. Not sure why, everything is the same, perhaps she just wants to get my attention as cuddles and attention are a bit in short supply when we have visitors.

Hope all is all with everyone, vines and wishes to those in need.

C'mon Crystal. You've spoiled us all with those fantastic blue surfs. We need more spoiling. Sending good luck wishes for whatever you decide.

Crystal....we are fresh out of yellow clothes, so if you want a pretty new dress it has to be blue of green....and we all know kitties like new dresses!

Thanks Marilyn, Peg, Wendy and Bron for encouraging Crystal to return to blues, she sort of half listened as she was 194 @ AMPS, back to blue but only just so increased to 15.5uR to try to get her back in the lower blues, where she belongs. Paws crossed the increase works.

Having a lovely time with Francoise but pretty exhausted. We have a dinner party for 7 tonight so we will both be busy in the kitchen all day, with no time for kitty cuddles so getting a quick Crystal cuddle in early. It's therapeutic for me stroking her and listening to her purr but tends to send me to sleep!

Have fun with the dinner party........life seems to be one big party over there!!
When you have time you must tell us what is on the menu.
Glad Crystal is back in the blue

Hello Bron, got a new cookery book off Amazon last week Mary Berry's Absolute Favourites, have you heard of her? She had a series recently on BBC TV. So this week we are working our way through as many new recipes as we can. In the chaotic kitchen today we are making an assortment of canapes to go with pre dinner house speciality Bellini cocktails, followed by little smoked salmon pots filled with alternate layers of avocado, chopped tomato and a cream cheese and Dijon mustard mixture served with salad leaves. Main course is a slow cooked beef casserole flavoured with mustard and horseradish, Francoise's famous pureed potatoes, a selection of vegetables, followed by her delicious Belgian chocolate mousse with chantilly cream served in individual porcelain cups and saucers (found a vintage Limoges set at a brocante yesterday, so pretty) If we are still hungry we have a cheese course but somehow I don't think we will need it! Tomorrow night we are going out to dinner at our favourite restaurant so that we can have a rest and enjoy being waited on, but back to business on Tuesday with a BBQ for 11. Francoise leaves on Thursday and then that's it, no more visitors this year!!! Cats will certainly be happy to have their routine back to normal but Bolly will miss all the extra attention he gets, he adores company. He will be wearing his bandana scarf today which guarantees even more petting!

oh, my invitation must've been lost in the international mail, but I'll be right over! ;) It sounds delicious! :)

You're doing a fantastic job managing Miss Crystal. :):) There've been so many new folks I haven't had time to check on our "regulars" but I'm glad to see Crystal's still doing so well.

Sounds like a wonderful dinner......my mouth is watering.......I'm on my way!
No I haven't heard of Mary Berry, but will keep my eye out for her.
What a lot of work for you both in the kitchen....but a lot of fun I am sure when you have a friend to laugh with.
The slow cooked beef sounds wonderful!

@julie & punkin (ga) you would be more than welcome! Thanks for checking in on Crystal, I notice you are being kept busy with all the newbies, so many new kitties being diagnosed lately - but at least they are in the best possible place for help and support, you are doing a wonderful job, as always.

@Bron and Sheba , you too Bron, saving you a seat, or I could post you some leftovers, though knowing our guests they won't leave much! Yes we do work well together, making and sharing good food with friends is one of life's little pleasures .... the clearing up after isn't so much fun!
