Well, looks like Miss China may just earn that dose reduction!!

That was her 2nd drop under 50 in 2 days :D:D:D One more and she wins the kewpie doll!!

Took DM out to visit an assisted living facility today....it's further away (8 miles) than the one that's less than a mile, but the rooms are bigger. It's a small place that's only licensed for 10 people, so it's quieter than the one attached to the nursing home, but they don't have all the activities that they do at the nursing home either.

One big thing in it's favor....they'll let her keep Miss Kitty (for $500 as long as she stays in her room and mom can take care of her). I know losing Miss Kitty is one of her biggest concerns.

Going to keep looking though......I'm hoping this is the absolute last time we have to move her anywhere!!

Yo Kittehs!!! Ya'll needs to blow real hard!!...Da weather dude on da moving picture box thingy says der may be clouds dis weekend!! We wants to blow dem clouds away so we's can gets a good view of da Total Solar Eclipse at my house!! Anda 1, anda 2 anda 3.....BLOW!!!!!
 
Yo Deputy China, You getting a reducie soon? Work it! I'm ready for the eclipse on Monday and will help blow away the clouds. Sounds like we'll have a great party. Do you have the special glasses for all of us kitties? We don't want sun spots in our eyes.

Hi Chris, I'm glad you found a place where your mom can keep Miss Kitty with her. That is so important! And she'll be away from her busybody neighbor, too. Good luck with the move.

I buys a whole case of dez cool glasses Rusty, so we be safe!!! We is all over da news becuz we is in da path of "totality" and da show is supposed to be a good one!

Dis is my house!! (well, I guess it's officially mama's house, but I iz da boss!)

Hi Chris ! You are in great position for viewing totality ! My crazy DH and neighbors insist we are driving to Boonville if traffic allows :) . Praying for clear skies !!
 
Do you believe your mother can take care of her kitty? That's probably the one thing that will keep her happiest given the situation.
Our pets make such a huge difference.

If the door gets open too much, perhaps she could get one of those portable catios....

That's the big question....she has trouble doing it now (correctly) but Miss Kitty is alive and well so even though she overfeeds/underfeeds, it seems to even out in the end.

I just know she won't fight it if she can take Miss Kitty.....that's been her one constant companion through the last 5 years since Dad passed
