Good morning or good day to all!

I woke up before the alarm and startled the cats by getting up. They were not sure whether to start crying for breakfast early or wait until the agreed-upon time when I normally get up to feed them. They came to a compromise by doing the physical part of the routine (following me, winding around my ankles, running to food dishes) silently, leaving the meowing for a later time when they might need the whole routine.

Thank you! I am cautiously happy!! One of the things that helped change my understanding of Ben's situation was a time when you came into my thread and spontaneously said that he was doing really well. I realized...he was! It helped me start seeing him less as a sick cat and more of a hopeful cat! Still working on changing my mental frame into optimism of this level.
