Good morning, Everyone,

Rusty is right where he was last night at bedtime, so I think his little bounce yesterday was owing to the full moon--not to a fur shot. We had a good test, shot, and breakfast this morning, and a good grooming with brushes and comb. Rusty is proud of his beautiful coat and likes to be brushed. At the moment he is chillaxin'.
It must have been a lively party last night, celebrating the Full Sturgeon Moon at Camp Stu. I learned that lots of lake fish were caught and grilled, and that Attie, Gary and Mud Cat brought huge Ohio River catfish (with the help of super-strong Tobey, who carried the fish almost single-pawedly). Moonie and the Kitty Chorus were in fine voice as they sang to the moon and to all of our GAs. They are getting in practice for Halloween, when the veil is thinest. Chef Mannie was manning the pots, Pastry Chef Tess was whipping up beautiful creations; Sous-chef Rusty and Apprentice Willie were manning the grill. Gracie was mixing drinks. The Kitchen Krew outdid itself. Lots of the kitties brought delicious things to eat; I don't think there were many leftovers! Another great full-moon party.

Rain expected here today and also tomorrow. Our Monday paddle has been pushed back to Tuesday, when the weather is supposed to be good. Normally we would go whatever the weather (unless it was a bad storm), but this paddle is particularly scenic and it's one most of us have not done, so we want to be able to see the scenery.

Morning guys! nice start for Rusty - you could be right on the full moon, and it's effects... I wold not doubt it at all. Thinking about some green today Rusty? after your morning nap?

That Tobey! working n those muscles again i see... :razz: I could not believe the size of those catfish! omg... quite the party though. it was nice of the gang to take it to quarantined Leo's so he could have some fun too, before packing it all up. Mannie is so stoked, thinking about the Halloween party... remembering last years... ought tob e a good one!

I hope you will get to go paddle, and that the weather will cooperate. I too go when the weather is questionable, but sometimes you have to opt for the better weather days, as for some locations things need to be seen too. Enjoy!

Sounds like the kids had quite the time!!! Sorry about the paddle delay, though an occasional rainy Sunday can be a good thing!! Hope you enjoy yours!!

No wonder Moonie was soooo tired! Raining so hard here too-we have some flooding in our street-

Well Rusty's coat is a thing most kitties are jealous of, so no wonder why he likes it brushed!! He's a very handsome kitty!

Just poking my head in to see how your summer is going. Hope you are getting enough paddling in.

Rusty is such a lucky boy. I bet he feels so handsome. :mrgreen:

Im contemplating a kayak for next spring. Going to try a few out the end of this month. Guess it all depends on mula and if I plan to stay in the new place longer than a year. Ive only kayaked once or twice, so should be exciting. Its funny, I see people wheeling or carting their kayaks behind their bikes around here.

Sorry you had to reschedule your paddle!!! Tobey said he had SO MUCH fun last night and he's glad his Auntie Ellabean got to see how strong he is. I love the party description...sounds like they had a blast. I had two tired kitties this morning!!!

Rusty ...thanks for having us at Camp Stu. Boy was that ever fun and are our tummies really full. Tobey snuck some fish back with him....that boy!!!

Hi Everyone,

We all had a good day doing mostly nothing. Rusty's numbers are typical for him lately. I think that in a few weeks I will add some fat to his dose. I don't want to do it yet, because our schedule is very busy and I want to be around to monitor his numbers.

The rain never did materialize. It thundered a bit, but no rain. Roni got it all!!

Great numbers for Rusty today! They must have had some party! As I go through the condos, thevkitties are all having a great day. Sorry about the paddle. A day of nothing sounds great though. Hope you have a wonderful night Ella!
