Good Morning, Everyone,

After a great, green day yesterday, Rusty is still in a good number this morning. He ate all his nighttime food, had a good test, shot, breakfast, lung treat, schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator (which is not on; outside it is in the upper 40s this morning).

Edward and Rusty will hold the fort this morning while I go on a bike ride with some friends. The painting of the door and frame will be finished today and hopefully we won't get the predicted showers this morning so that maybe work can begin on painting the new siding boards. In any event, this afternoon is supposed to be sunny. A major front is coming through and wind gusts of 35 mph are forecast. I'll get blown off my bike!!

Wishing all a good day. Chef Rusty has his menu for Nikki's OTJ party ready to post, but will have to wait until the party video is posted. He'll get it posted this afternoon if I have to leave before the video.

I am sure loving Rusty's BG's the past couple of days. All that green yesterday, and a nice low blue this morning. I suspect that he is ready to head back to the lagoon. You surf well Rusty.

Enjoy your bike ride today. oh my on the wind gusts.... Best tie yourself to your bike. :shock: ;-) Enjoy! it is always great to go and do things with friends. wow, in the 40's in the morning? brrr.... I like the sunny afternoon part. :-D

Sounds like things are progressing well with eh work on your house. YAY! Almost done?

Hi Ella. Nice to see Rusty start his day off on a good foot paw. It sounds like the workers are moving right along at a good pace. Enjoy the bike ride with your friends and watch out for those wind gust; 35 MPH - that's strong.

Nice numbers Rusty! You are on a roll. Enjoy the bike ride. I agree with Michelle, you best tie yourself to your bike. Have a great day! The guys will have fun I'm sure spending some "guy" time.

Morning Ella, just stopping by to check on one of Maggie's furfriends and his Mom, too. Nice report on Rusty. The upper 40's here would be cold for us, and I would turn on the heat. I hope Rusty heads towards the Lagoon later. Have a great bike ride.

Hi again,
The LagoonMeister has resumed his duties. I came home to a nice 55 nadir at +9 (at least I assume it is the nadir!). Edward and Rusty had a relaxing day, Rusty watching the painter through the door to the porch! The front door itself is done, but the outer part of the frame and the top part of the stoop still need painting. It rained almost all day, so the outside part could not be done.

Yep, it rained on our bike ride, too: heavy at times. And it was very windy. But we had fun anyway and had refreshments at our friends' camp after the ride. Now, of course, the sun is out. But the cold weather continues. I had 3 layers on today!!

Rusty is asleep in his little bed. He's not used to his normal numbers!

Gotta go make dinner. bbl,

It's nice to see Rusty back in the lagoon again. I hope he gets used to the normal numbers again soon.

Bummer on the rains on your ride. I would have continued too. Sometimes it can be so fun when dealing with outside conditions too. I am glad you enjoyed it.

You are a trooper Ella on that bike ride :lol: But when your with friends those times turn out to be the best memories ;-) And 40 would be cold here too! I would have the heat on too :lol: Were getting down in the 80's at night...Burrrr :lol: :lol:

Wow on the bike ride and the winds. The rain I could handle with the right gear but that wind makes things feel even colder. Have a great evening Ella.

I didn't know you were so talented and you can ride a bicycle! You is one cool kitteh riding a bicycle! OOOOH it is cold where you are....brrrr, do you need to pull out your fur coat? Oh my, it's a lot cooler here too, but it feels oh so nice on my fur and the cool breeze in my whiskers tickles me and makes me sneeze. I know silly right.

I hear you want to play in the lagoon, whoopee - it's so much fun in the lagoon you know.

I entertained the thought that my meter might be stuck, but I don't think it is! Rusty is just surfing. He just ate some of his bedtime food and is downstairs still, working his scratcher.

Thanks for visiting us today. Tomorrow we have a paddle, and the carpenters plan to finish the painting. Fingers and paws crossed!
