Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=77043 was pink to blue to pink day. Today looks like the delayed bounce that Neko seems to have perfected. The green was 3 cycles ago, and sometimes the worst of the bounce seems to happen that much later.

Today I took the advantage of the numbers to go over to the island to visit my parents. DH did the +5 test and the rest is a pokie break. Very productive day for me. DD and I picked most of the transparent apples from the two trees, I picked half a ice cream bucket worth of blackberries, and raided the big garden for a zucchini and some basil. Zucchini is now on the grill for dinner. Neko wants to help us with the grilling, especially the salmon. I think she is practicing for the grilling at Tucker's party today. She seems very full of herself today. Happy and grooming. But every time I turn my back to type I have to come back to the kitchen and spritz her off the counter! :twisted: :o

Much better, looks like Neko spend the day slowly sliding down. I hope it continues tonight.

@Jill - dinner was great, but I think Neko wanted some salmon instead of her chicken. I the past she has gotten salmon sashimi and wanted more tonight.

Sounds like Neko is doing really great..I love that she chose salmon over chicken! :lol: :lol:

Hey, whereabouts on the island do your folks live? and yes, the transparent apples this year are INSANE!! our trees are raining them down. horsies are getting tons to eat each day and we still can't get rid of them.

seems that Neko is happy to be home!

@Roni - salmon is only a treat for Neko. I think she'd prefer both salmon and chicken :lol: Maybe it's a west coast cat thing!

@Pip - my parents live on Bowen Island, same ferry system but much shorter trip for me. The transparents are HUGE this year. The deer are loving it. Neko is acting like she never left.

Good thing I decided to test and that we were up a little later. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten up to test until +6. :o :shock: Still got a while to nadir.

Good thing I got a case of the FF gravy lover's on Sunday. Neko is lapping it up! Still not at nadir.

@Jane - I like green, but a little bit higher would be nicer now. Time for another sleep/test.

Whew! She is back up again. I'll test again in a bit to make sure she is staying there. I won't post unless she dives down again.

@Jane - the gravy seems to have done it. Ages ago Neko used to nadir @ +5.5, so maybe she did again tonight. Thanks for hanging around.
