Kit got her second shot of Solensia today. The vet just left, so I got a test in to see where her BG was, and I'm curious to see if it'll go up. She was a little stressed (mostly mad because unapproved people came into the apartment), but it was all pretty fast - I think the vet was only here for 5-7 minutes? On the plus side, the she also only charged me for a quarter home visit since it was so fast. I, of course, forgot to write down questions, so those have been emailed. No lies, finding a vet who does home visits has been something I'm so dang grateful for. I still have to load Kit up for things like dentals, but overall so much less stressful for her.

I was honestly surprised to see a green since an hour after the vet was here Kit threw up and then proceeded to poop and butt scoot in a great variety of places. I figured since she wasn't feeling well it might not get down to greens today.

I hope Kit is feeling back to normal, she was probably like, "sheesh... I hate going to that place ( the Vet), so you brought that place to me??" :joyful:

She's always so mad when the vet gets here and we put her on the counter, and as soon as we put her back on the floor she just turns around and glares at us. We just laugh because she used to hide and this is so much better! :joyful::joyful:

She's not currently super excited to eat, so it'll be a buffet of foods tonight. I'd like to not have to be up a lot tonight since tomorrow is the first day back at work. (Although it's also fine, since I'm working from home tomorrow, and I probably just jinxed myself into needing to stay up).

Having a vet come home is indeed so much better than having to haul them to the vet's! And yes, you probably did jinx yourself about needing to stay up. LOL. :joyful:
Is the Solensia helping her? Isn't it a subQ shot? Couldn't you just collect it from the vet's and give it yourself?
