Happy Sunday Lantus Land. Sending healing vines to all kitties who need them and especially to Garland in TX and our own LL Yemala who has some kind of skin condition.

Lots of lovey cuddles and purrs during the night and I woke up with stereo purring from Tobey and Gracie. She's had all four breffis's and is playing with Tobes....doing their racetrack runs. We're trying to flatten Gracie out by giving her a little higher carb food to control how fast she comes down and also to try and keep her up above 50. Since she had a relatively high blue AMPS today, I thought I'd try an experiment. The last couple cycles with similar AMPS, I've been giving her a WN 6% food and at +1 she has a food spike. Today I tried her regular WN 4% food and at +1, she had dropped 25. Coincidence maybe.....with Gracie, it could be that it's just Sunday :lol: :lol: But like as not, the 6% is helping her descent so as long as she gives me a PS below 200, we'll go with the 6%.

I got a message from Lauren that all is fine there. Tommy is fine but has been a bit bouncy; her job is not what she had hoped; Ryleigh has crystals in her urine; her DFIL has not been well; and she and Mark usually go to her parents' house every week to help out her dad. So she is really overwhelmed right now but doing ok. She said she misses everyone and hopes to have time to check in sometime soon.

I hope you all have a great day. I hope to get to condos sometime. I did a btb on the catio this morning as I only got sleep in two hour increments last night. I'm hoping one day I can trust her more ;-) I have a few outside chores to do but the main chore today is more insurance paperwork to file for the kits. With all we had going on with Teddi, and I still haven't caught up from some other routine visits, it seems never ending.

Thanks for the Lauren update Marje, i wondered what had happened to her and Tommy. Also a few weeks ago i pm'd Stephanie and Willy to see what was up with them, they are fine as well.

Also thanks for stopping by Leo's condo these last few days, and thanks for your thoughts and prayers for us too, it means alot ;-)

Morning guys! nice start for Gracie today. Great day yesterday! Good luck with your experiment. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out. Are you still using karo and or honey to control the drops?

Thanks too on the Tommy and Lauren update. I had wondered how they are doing.

Good luck with the chores today... I need to do that too. :-D

These last few cycles are almost textbook, consistently getting into the greens. The BTB sounds heavenly. :YMSIGH: More chores for me today too. Lucky kitties paddling around in the Green Lagoon. :?

Tracy: aahh....I just want you to know how much we all support you in this. I know it must be difficult. Thanks for letting us know about Steph and Willy....I've been wondering about them, too, as well as Violet and Chaos.

Michelle: back to karo....I have to believe it was the honey that caused those big bounces...she bounced longer than she ever has. I'm actually not having to use too much karo with her now. Just a FT here and there to slow her down or get her up a bit.

Ann: thanks!!! I'd like to say all kinds of things about how she's doing on this dose but I am not about to jinx it. Yes, the btb was heavenly and necessary :lol: :lol: And yes on the lucky kitties...Gracie is napping on the catio while I have to do chores.

there is little as glorious as going back to sleep for a morning nap . . . something about it is just decadent and wonderful! glad you got to snooze a little more!

thanks for the update on lauren & tommy - she does have a lot going on. i had wondered about stephanie & willy as well & glad someone checked on them. we miss people when they go from daily to awol!

Oh what a coincidence. I just posted on Loose Lips asking about Lauren, aka Squirrel, before reading your condo. Now I'll go back and re-edit, lol! Gracie is doing really great on this dose, anti-jynx. Good luck with the WN plan to flatten out her cycle. I'm not giving up on WN for Mags. Hope you are having a nice day and thanks for the update on Lauren.

I haven't given her anything but her regular boiled chicken snack since +3. Yesterday when she stayed around 180 from +8 to PMPS, I thought there might be something wrong with my meter or the strips so I tested myself and got a great number so .......I think next test I'll run the Contour against this and see (Contour usually runs higher).

Nice surf! Gabby was doing the same thing last night -- flat in the 80s. They do like to keep us guessing.

Five incredible cycles and this????? Really little girl???? But I love you so.....just come back down slowly.

Gracie is being a cat!! But what a great day! Please tell Tobey how impressed we are by his strength: those catfish were unbelievable! I don't know how he got them to camp!! Rusty went to all the other camps and finally found some really big frying pans.

Have a lovely evening, all of you, and Gracie, come on back to those lovely greens.

Maybe Gracie thinks the full moon is tonight instead of last night? Let's blame the Perseid meteor showers! We can't see them in Flag tonight, we're having a lovely rainy day!!!

Beth: no....she didn't get into anything. Everyone's food is supervised but Gracie is not a food theft anyway and she was asleep on the bookcase all afternoon. I think the flat 60s must have spooked her liver.

Ella: Here is Tobey's face: :oops: :oops: because his fav Auntie Ellabean noticed his muscles.

Anne: you know, as I was taking out the recycling and looked at the moon, I had to wonder the same thing.

What I hope it is NOT is the Denmarin I started her on yesterday. Jill said it shouldn't affect her BG...doesn't affect Alex's and I know other FD kitties are on it.
 
i think her ego was threatened by being told she was as flat as north dakota. gracie is not a flat cat. she doesn't want to be called a flat cat, and she can zoooooooommmmmm to prove it! :lol: see? :lol:

oh well, what goes up will come down!
 
:lol: that high number is what gave them the night off, anne! marjorie and mike need a break now and then and probably don't mind the occasional high number. don't think you have to worry.
