Yesterday, day after dental
Good morning!
Mama bean got up at 2:10 to make sure Boomer had eaten his +6 and he had not; I had to stir/fork-feed it to him :rolleyes: And this bean forgot to set her 5:10 alarm for his +9. And the beans slept in today so he had access to his +9 until about +11.

AMBG 83 To shoot or not to shoot. Since we know that Boomer had ample opportunity to graze for over 2 hours after his +9 DH and I decided to "wait and see". If his levels come up we won't hesitate to give insulin.

This bean has a newborn session today at noon and DH is going golfing. Temperatures are a lot more reasonable here today after some serious thunderstorms rolled through Ontario yesterday. We only got a few minor rumbles but there were some funnel clouds spotted and one unconfirmed tornado.

Forgot to mention this last week but there was a terrorist shot by the RCMP in a small town about 30 miles from here and he was just getting into a cab to come to London to our downtown mall, complete with a bomb. Apparently the RCMP acted on a tip received from the FBI who came across some videos he was posting about bombings. Too too close to home.

These kitties sure have us all wrapped around their paws. Boomer, there is no need for your food to be stirred. You can eat it on your own! :cat:

yeah I couldn't believe it....I guess I thought London was "off the map" and to have him located in small town Ontario.....wow
 
Nice juice-less greens there!! I know ALL about special food services here....been doing it for 2 years now, so it is more than expected. What can ya do?? They're cute, and they gotta eat.

Yikes on the terrorist...the world is nuts.

Great that Boomer is doing so great after the dental!!!! I think you can probably consider continuing with no insulin again. And oh so scary about the terriorist!!! Glad that he was stopped before he got to your town!!!
 
I haven't had a chance to retest Boomer because of my photo session but will be testing at +9 which is in about 1.5 hours.
I'm not sure whether to give insulin or not. His number did go up in the 3 hours from AMBG to +3 and if his pancreas is working it should have gone down. However, I know the anesthetic played a large part in keeping his levels low for the last couple of days .

Now I'm curious to see what he gives you at PMPS. Think green Boomer. Good luck with the restart, may it be a short one.

ETA: I was thinking of you when I heard about the terrorist. Confusing London UK with your town? Doesn't make sense.

I know and I thought London was small enough to be safe! Apparently he was in trouble previously and was ordered to live with his sister who happened to be in Strathroy. Apparently they had been watching him for a bit. Guess they moved at exactly the right moment!
 
Hmmm change of plans again; after the +9 level we were planning to shoot tonight. But....I know that when I finished my photo session at +7.5 there was still quite a bit of food in his +6 tray then sometime between +7.5 and +8 he ate most of it. So it could have been a food high at +9.
PMBG 76 DH and I agree we won't shoot.
