Thank You to everyone for Kind thoughts for Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue made it thru the anesthesia! Dr. did the chemo injections & now we wait & watch to see the tumor shrink. The injections are scheduled to be done every Tuesday 3 more times. Hopefully she won't need that many !

It was a very long day, Got to the vet at 9am Had to run home at 9:30 to give Ravan his shot. Got back & waited over 5 hours till Dr. had a break & took her into surgery.( he saw 25 patients during that time!)

Sat petting her in the waiting room & then in an empty room with her. While we waited.

When it was done they called me into the surgery room to see the tumor in her mouth, Very awful ! It's pushing against her throat! Dr said he's amazed she's still eating. She was still knocked out when I went in to see her Poor little girl looked so fragile.
I had to wait 2 hrs till the anestesia started to wear off. I held her & walked around the entire time. Got home & she went to sleep in her favorite chair. Now I wonder if she'll eat anything? Hasn't had food since midnight.

Appreciate all the support & love for her :):bighug: I'm sure it helped & will help in her recovery. Now I'm waiting to see if she'll eat anything.

I am wiped out. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Apologies for not getting to everyone's condo! I will tomorrow.

I'm glad Peggy Sue made it through the anesthesia and was able to get the treatment. I'm sure she's as worn out as you are. I hope she'll eat for you soon, but she may not want to eat very much at first. I hope you can both get some rest tonight. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Was waiting for news... So happy that everything went well !! :bighug:
What a day you both had !! You need a good night sleep together! What a relief you must have :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Now, sending full of healing and recovery vines !!! :bighug::bighug:

I'm so happy for you that it went well today, you must be so relieved and totally pooped out. You've been trying non stop to find someone willing to help Peggy Sue, thank goodness your vet changed his mind and agreed to do the procedure. Have a good night's sleep, you deserve it.
Hugs to Peggy Sue for being such a big brave girl today. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Surf safe Ravan, no drama tonight please!
