Blue yesterday

We are loving the blues! Woohoo, Zener! Appy wasn't great this morning (again :-x ) but he managed to eat enough for his shot. He finished up with breffis in bed with sleeping Annebean. He had a small pukus (foamy liquid and grass), before his meds and on the patio. He even ran outside when he started heaving. Well done, Zener! :-D

OT: The big plan for today is a trip to Goodwill. We are trying to decumulate. Is that a word?

Healing to vines to ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Bern's Tashie, Dara's Bob. Nikki is almost OTJ! Happy Tuesday, LL!
Liz

Hi Liz. Real nice numbers for Zener this morning. Hope his appy gets better and that the pukus episodes are over.

Have a great day Liz.

What a good boy you are Zener!!! That's a word in my dictionary....when I do the Goodwill thing, I call it "purging"....one time the chairs in my dining room were annoying me because they were constantly in the way (it was a small dining room), so I purged them right out the front door, along with a huge aquarium, to the curb--and walla--they disappeared in about 10 minutes....

Over the years we have found some wonderful things on the street (and at the landfill). But we need to get rid of stuff, too. We call it "de-accessioning".

Z-Man, lookin' very handsome in blue today.

Have a great day, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Anne and Liz, Nice blue slide there starting for Zener. Sending him some appy vines just in case he needs an appy pick-up. Also some tummy vines. So glad to hear he's finishing his breffifs stop with AnneBean sleeping. :-D Yes, I think that's a word, "decumulate." I also need to do it every so often as this is a small place and tends to look cluttery! Is that a word?

Have a nice Tuesday. Hugs and scritches to Zener and Tillie

Nice blues for Zener. Hopefully his appy will get better. That was considerate of him to go outside to vomit.

Re: 8/13 Zener PMPS 179

Z-man, you still blue? Way to go!!!  :-D :-D

One of my favorite things about renovating is the excuse to declutter.

Re: 8/13 Zener PMPS 179

Hi Anne,

Great blue line for Zener, today, I love seeing those on the SS's - gives me hope!

We call it de-cluttering - except we go INSIDE Goodwill & re-clutter

Keep up the great numbers, Zener, & good kitty for pukus b-4 meds & not after! ;-)

Re: 8/13 Zener PMPS 179

Good chuckles going on here while Zener is Beautiful on Blue!!!!

Decumulate is definitely a word...I need to so it. The worst is when you get back from Goodwill and realize you've bought back your old stuff.

Have a great night.

Hope you all have a great night

Re: 8/13 Zener PMPS 179

Good evening LL, we are amazed Zener is riding the blue wave for a few cycles in a row. Funny how his numbers seem to have leveled out since we started adding the squash to his fuds. {{{anti-jinx}}} Poos seem a bit more bulky and definitely more regular.

Still dealing with "our normal" appy issues but he seems to be holding his own. Someone has a birthday in two weeks. confused_cat

It is our last week before summer is over for the uni professors and back we go. We have our teaching schedules worked so Liz can work from home in the mornings and I can be home in the afternoons most days.

@John - it's been a so so appy day, but improved tonight with a little appy stimulant. No more pukus after the one this morning.

@Kat - Zener tries so hard to be very good, even running outside to puke. What a sweetheart! We put a few things on our curb too, before the big Goodwill trip, lasted about 10 minutes too!

@Ella - Zener is loving his blue suit! We love to "garbage pick" as it was called when I was in college. We got rid of quite a lot of stuff and it doesn't look like we got rid of anything! :?

@Suzanne - isn't it so encouraging to see nice blues in a string! We feel that same way even after 2 1/2 years! The Goodwill people love to see us drive up. One of the greeters says I bring good junk. :-D

@Mary & Oliver - Zener thanks you for telling him how beautiful he is. He loves that! So far, I've not bought something back from Goodwill, but there's still time.

@Ann & Maggie - thanks for the appy vines, we can always use those, and tummy vines too. He is back to his breffis in bed routine lately, and I'm so glad, even though I usually sleep through it all. Last night, both Zener and Tillie, were in the bed with the sleeping MamaLizBean and there was no room for me!

@carla - isn't he a real gentleman cat to go purge outside? ;-)

@Wendy - YES, still blue! About to get a +3 in a few minutes, so we'll see what the evening may bring. We used to use moving as our motivation to declutter. Now that we've lived in the same house for 16 years, we need new motivation. Renovation, hmmm...

@Jamie & Jupiter - thanks for the happy appy wishes, we can always use those!

Thought you all might be interested in this week's column in our local paper, "Ask the Vet", written by Zener's vet. The first Q & A is a dog question and the 2nd one is about feline diabetes. She asked us to send the links to FDMB and the Lantus message board and she put it in her column. So, if there are any new members from Flagstaff, they may have gotten the info from our paper.

Well poopy, paws crossed it's just an extra large food spike and not "you know who"...
