Slightly better today, but still too high. At least she dove into her chicken pate soup this morning, then stole some of Simon's Meow Mix, then ate more chicken pate soup plus her freeze-dried treats! Maybe yesterday was just one of those "I don't feel like eating today" days that cats sometimes have.

Looks like she's flattened out pretty good and for the most part eating pretty well for you again. At least good for Missy Picky Pants. So let's ease up her dose just a touch to .25 if you want to wait until the weekend that's fine so you'll be around to monitor her.

Thanks, Mel! Yes, I'd rather wait until the weekend to up the dose. I was rather panicky yesterday after giving her the .1u when she kept refusing to eat much. So I think my nerves need me to wait till the weekend!

Argh. I'm pretty sure her BG spike is because of a moment of inattention from me. I went into the closet for a minute, and when I came out, she was eating Lucky's dry food dinner! I thought she was Squeaker at first - in the darkish room, they look exactly alike - so I didn't react right away. When I realized who it was, she got screamed at and her tasty snack got snatched away. Poor baby. I will never, ever again turn my back on her when she's near Lucky's food! I'll start closing the bathroom door when she's in there now. So let that be a reminder of how bad dry food is for our FD kitties!

Bad mama. :(

I hear ya I wasn't paying attention the other day while putting pills in pill pockets. Only to realize that I didn't switch types and gave Autumn her thyroid meds in the feline chicken flavor. Sure enough 2 hours later she tested at 510

It's amazing how quickly and completely it affects them! Just in case I didn't already know how bad that stuff is! It makes me really want to get Lucky off it, though all my efforts thus far have done little good. Though meal-feeding him does seem to be getting him to eat more wet. (I feed him wet with the others, but he generally eats just a little, then we go upstairs and he has his dry shut away from the others. Usually, anyway!)
