Good morning,
Samba's blood ketone reading at AMPS was 0.8mmol/L, which is in the cautionary range (0.6-1.5mmol/L)... the instructions say "may need medical attention". Should I be concerned? He has always had results in the normal range so far (0.0-0.6mmol/L).
What can be done to help the situation from home? Should I add water to his food? Also, at what point should I be alerting the vet, and what would be the next steps if he was throwing ketones? Thanks so much
