Good afternoon!

it's been a stressful week, a good one, a super busy one so far. Rocky continues to do well. His BG at 64 this morning. I am greedy, I would like to see him in the 50s but it is looking like low 60s is going to be about his average BG. I have not had time to check his BG AT ALL during the day, so I have no idea if he is going lower.
Rocky has had two new roomates in the "Triage Room." LOL! The little Flame Point Siamese and his SISTER, a Seal Point Tortie. I don't think that I can post more than on photo in a post, so I'll post the little girls photo in a new post. It was a late night with them last night. I drove one hour to a woman's house who used to rescue premie kittens, under one pound. She asked me to bring the kittens so that she could see them and advise me. I wasn't able to get to her house until 10pm and I didn't get home until 1am.
You know, when Rocky started needing less and less insulin, and I thought that he might go into remission, I said to a friend, "Please, don't let me take on another emergency case right away. Don't let me do it. I NEED to get some sleep." Well, this was a different friend who asked me to rescue this litter of kittens on a ranch property. I had never seen them before. I had no idea when I drove out there, that they were going to be in such deteriorating condition.
I'm not sure why I kept being given these challenges. I will probably have a head full of grey and white hair before too long, but you'd never know it.
