8/13 PurrFace PMPS 290 +2/371 +5.5/344 +9.75/369 PIC

PurrFace had a good AM cycle yesterday and has been doing ok on the 2.25U dose. With that said he still was visiting the high blue, yellow and pink zone so I increased him to f2.25U this morning.

OT: Rain predicted starting tomorrow and continuing into weekend. Glad our pool pump will be replaced today. I stay on top of the pool chemistry and keep it sparkling clean so it's worrisome not to have a pump circulating the water since Friday. We had a 2 speed pump but opted for a variable speed pump this time. They're suppose to be a lot more efficient...we'll see.

Ouch on the pink, but it sounds like yesterday was a good one for PurrFace. Good luck with the new dose.

Good luck too with the pool, and the pump. I hope that goes smoothly. Bummer on the pending rains though....

Big dive at +3 for Ole' PurrFace. Fingers crossed that he hits the Lagoon and surfs the safe numbers there.

OT: Pool man came & the pool man left. Went to check his progress and discovered he was about to install a pump from a different manufacturer than the one I purchased. He'll be back tomorrow a.m. with the correct one. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Fingerpainting again, Purrface??? I'm glad you got a new pump--nothing worse than "unsparkling" water--Our water was always crystal, sparkling clear and we kept it perfectly balanced with Baquacil...this year, a neighboring farmer planted acres and acres of field corn (last year it was soybeans) up to the property line (which is only about 50 yards from the pool). Our water has been cloudy for about a month. We believe the corn pollen could be the reason; there was a reddish-pink substance on the ladder. We tried a few different chemicals to clear it up, including flock. No difference. We finally got it to clear, using a substance that makes the sand in the filter stickier... Have you ever heard of corn making water cloudy? p.s. We don't mind the corn at all, because who loves corn more than cows???? Delicious Deer!!!

Hi John, that is a big drop. Hope the new dose works good. Now, surf sweet Purrface, nice and easy. That's a bummer about the pump, good thing you were there to see the error.Hope the new fancy one gives you crystal clear water.

Judging from the +6/33 PurrFace is a bit upset with me giving him that extra drop in his shot and he decided to give it back. I'll put him back to the 2.25U tonight and hope he behaves himself.
