Yesterday was BLUE day in MannieLand. WOOT! and we even had a dip into the green Lagoon. :mrgreen: Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was performing live on the side of I405 Northbound, playing tunes and serving up cold ones as Neko made his journey north to Canada. :lol: :lol: It was a great day for Mannie - loved it! We hope that he can repeat this often - it was just so nice to see. Well done Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It's been a warm one here yesterday - 82 at home, 89 in Seattle. Mannie seems to be handling it well. The last week when we were 93 he found that the tiles by the fireplace remain cool, so that is where he has camped out today. Smart kitty. We had a slight breeze, so I opened the window nearest to where he lays - he seemed to think that is kinda cool. Every now and then he would point the face in that direction, sniff, get all squinty eyed, let out an "AAHHHHH" sigh and got on with his nap. :cool: :razz: :razz: He also moved a couple of the nanners to the tiles too. Gotta take care of the nanners! :lol: :lol: He also made a few trips around the yard, checking this and that, making sure all was secure. PHEW! What a relief - we are safe! :-D This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was IGNORED by Mannie (sigh....), : Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (as always)... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Hey everybody!! What's up? You guys wanna go in the hot air balloon again? It is so nice here, sun and everything and well it was such a cool thing last time... Morning Michelle and yum on the White Peppermint Mochas ~O) ~O) I think today will be the day I will try one, as I was a hermit all weekend, and I need to get out and have a treat! :-D Nice day yesterday for mannie and just a little high this morning, but bet he comes back to the blues and greens, too. It was hot here, too, yesterday and Maggie hides in the bedroom where it's cool. I bet Mannie enjoyed that breeze. Have a great day and maybe a shore walk or something.

Mannie, cool with waving to Neko and hot air ballooning sounds like fun. I'll pack up some food for all and bring some catnip wine coolers, too. see ya at the same spot, Mags

222 @ +2. YAY! headed down. Go Mannie! This is so Mannie: would not eat his +2 mini meal - no way.... until I took it out of the feeder and out it in his regular fuds bowl. Then NOM NOM NOM. :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll: sheshhhh, and what a guy. :lol: :lol:

Morning Ann - Oh Cool! Well I hope you like it. I really like white chocolate: YUM YUM YUM! I loved yesterday for Mannie - it really was a good day for him. He looks like he is headed down this morning, so maybe back to the blues for him. YAY! Smart kitty that Maggie - finding a cool spot. and a big yes on the breeze: he did enjoy that. Thanks on today, and no doubt a shore walk, maybe this AM before it gets warm. The mornings there are quite beautiful.

MAGGIE!!! What's up girl? Hot air balloon it is then! It will be fun - we can travel anywhere, pick up our friends as we go. WOO HOO! OOOOOOOOOOOOOO: catnip wine coolers???? Excellent! See you at the curb! ~~ Mannie

I so admire Mannie, for taking such good care of his 'nanners. :smile:

Hi guys .. nice to see mannie heading down, instead of up! Maybe a touch of blue to the SS before the day is over .. 89 can definitely be a warm one, our AC is usually on at that temp! Thankfully we've had some decent weather the last few days .. makes it nice to open windows .. have a great day guys!

Hi Barb - well.... on that 89..... well, it felt that way at that time. :lol: :lol: :lol: yeah, I probably should have shut the windows closed. hmmmmm.... bet some good sniffs were coming in on that breeze: neighbors BBQ.... birdies in the trees.... friendly intruder..... :lol: :lol: and I KNOW! What a bad bean - I should have froze one or two - now that would have cooled him off alot. :cool: :cool: Thanks on today, good so far.

Hi Devon - Oh yes so agreed on the down and not up! Looks like he may make the blues - that +5 is SO CLOSE! yep, the 89 was a bit much: no A/C here, as most of the time we never need it. We may, if lucky, see that tempo for 3 weeks out of the year... ;-)

Hi Roni - that he is/was. If that +10 is his normal spike,then all is well in the down category. Paws crossed!!! I hope that was his +10 spike and that her comes back down to BLUE for PMPS! That would be a great example to set for all the other kitters, Mannie!

Looks like Mannie had a fun day and almost got down to blue. But I guess he found out that those hot air balloons work best with higher numbers!!

Hi Ella - Yes he did - almost blue! He could have made it, and I missed it too. Then again - he so wanted those hot air balloons to work really well, so higher numbers :lol: :lol: .... and yes on the temps! I don't know if we made 80 today or not - last time I looked it as 78. close enough i guess. :lol: By the end of the week we are supposed to be mid 90's. we shall see if that happens or not. :shock: I so hope not.... The bald eagle thing was really cool. We were at the edge of the creek, when it flew by. Nicholas saw if first - he points and lets out this squeal of delight. We watched it fly down the creek bed. really really cool.
