Normal morning. Everybody is napping after breffis.

I forgot to mention that at Checks' vet visit, the doc studied his SS printout, and asked what a 'fat' means, so I know he was really studying it. :smile:
He liked the color coding.
Said he doesn't know how to get his cat patients out of AM high preshots. It was refreshing to hear a doctor admit he doesn't know something.
The other doc that Checks sees,in the clinic , visits FDMB occasionally. I doubt that he knows about the specific insulin forums.

I realized from Libby's response last night, I was unclear about the Merrick's . I did not buy it. The flavors all had sweet potatoes and carrots

Checkers...I am going to have to close the Pink Flor for uh...er...renovations...Yeah! That's it!
Renovations!!! Shadow is up there too...so clear out boys...I am coming in with the paint rollers and drop cloths...

I think that the veggies sound so good to Beans....and "brown rice" sounds so nice to the Beans who fork out the money. I also hate the flaxseed oil in some brands since I have read that cats do not utilize it very well. sigh. I use the Merrick Southern Delight sometimes but since I am trying to stay away from beef, the surf and turf and the Cowboy cookout are both "out". I use Evo 95% with herring oil but they like Wellness chicken mixed in. I hate seeing those chunks of carrots in that stuff. No by-products in either brand though.

I have been making raw chicken mixed with Feline Future powder and they really like that. http://www.felinefuture.com I mix it with Evo 95% and Wellness...
I have the printed janet & binky list in my car....I tried Sohpistacat and they liked it until one of the flavors caused an itching episode in both of them that lasted for hours. They scratched the hair off parts of their bodies and it took a long time to get them settled down and healed. What a nightmare! Shadow's neck was a disgusting mess for a long time. (I suspect the beef & chicken so I eliminated beef altogether.) Other kitties tolerate it quite well I guess. You really have to look hard for brands that don't have by-products. I like the idea of the pink floor being closed for renovations, maybe an eviction notice can be sent to Checkers along with my Tray? hope they get the message and Checkers has a great day

Well Checkers left for the renovations, but he looks to be sitting outside the door waiting for Pat to finish. Give up, Checkers, she is bent on taking her time! You might as well head down a floor or two.

I don't know what is so much fun up there on the pink floor, but hopefully Pat will take care of it! Don't feel bad about the cereal Barb, Tinkles got into the drooler's bowl yesterday when my back was turned for a minute. :roll: It happens, hopefully it will clear quickly!

Oh yippee, Checkers loves parties. I'll tell him all about it, when I get off here.
We had a horrible day entirely in pink. So now we have stinkus pinkus, as well as vetty stinkus. :roll:

I'm not so sure now that he did get into the cereal. I just assumed it. Since he has been pink all day, I'm wondering if he could have had a fur shot. But can you really do that without knowing it?

Hey Checkers, Don't feel you have to stay pink for my sake! I'm only pink part of the time!! Coming over to my place tomorrow? Raja is cooking me a healing dinner and lots of the kitties will be there. Don't wear pink!

Hi Barb, Stu's favorite regular food is By Nature 95% turkey & turkey liver (not the organic version; the regular version). I learned today that I can add chopped egg white to his regular food and it cuts the influence of phosphorus. Tried it and he ate it just fine.

Thanks Ella. I don't know where to get these different foods. There is one farm store, 45 minutes drive. I checked out some yesterday, but they had no low carb.
I did however try canned chicken today (thanks for the idea), for after test, treats, and Checkers loved it. It's expensive, but for small treats, he's worth it......most days.. :lol:
 
Oh Checkers - what are you doing buddy? Come on down out of the pinks!
