Hello Monday...I still don't like you. Why did I give up

WCR: All Ps in place. Shasta's appy is ok today. I had to sweet talk her into finishing her breffis, but no problems with eating her snack! I have not started her K supplements. I wanted to finish her AB before I started another form of "medicine".

Question: would her AB cause her to drink a little more water? It's not an excessive amount, I don't think, but I just noticed she's drinking a bit more than I'm use to seeing.

Ok, off to tbp. :YMSIGH: Yay for more meetings about things that will get us fired or how horrible the test scores were and the extra work we'll have to do to get the test scores up. :cry: But on a happier note, I love my cat! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Hi guys .. nice yellows for shasta this morning .. I can't say for certain in a cat but I know when I take AB's I'm always more thirsty then usual .. Sorry to hear about the rough meetings at tbp :sad: have a great day!

Hi, Deborah, I don't know the answer to your question ~ but it's an interesting one! Ripley is currently on ABs and is drinking a bit more water than usual, but it could be coincidence...

Low flat yellow, not too bad. Eat yer fuds, Shasta! I don't know if the ABs would cause more drinking but it seems likely. Ugh on those meetings, the first of the year stuff is always so annoying. It's amazing that anyone wants to be a teacher these days, given all the hassle.

You all are so great! I'm about to brush my teeth and go to bed and just got sucked into watching TED videos. So good and so poignant. Last Wednesday, I showed up to the first day of teacher pre-planning with excitement and enthusiasm. It's amazing how quickly that was shattered. :cry: I JUST WANT TO TEACH MY KIDS!!!!! @-)
Liz - after today, I'm reconsidering my life for next year. Education is becoming less about teaching students and more about data, data, data...which does NOT show learning gains...it shows that people can teach to the test and kids can learn how to take the test. ugh!
Mary - thank you and thanks for the virtual hugs! I needed that today!

Shasta is doing well tonight. Not the greatest appy, but I think the dish I just cooked is annoying her nose and she doesn't want to eat. I did find 2 poos in the LB when I got home this afternoon. MAN DID THEY STINK!!!!!! eeewwwww!
Devon, Josie & Liz - thank you for thinking about the AB question. I think it makes sense, too. She's not drinking gallons more, but just enough that I noticed. No biggie.

Carla & Melissa - Thanks for the well wishes for me and Shasta. She's cuddled up next to me right now; but about to get really ticked off at me because I have to get up and divvy my foods into containers for the week. Oh yeah...and poke her!

Sorry, I'm not getting to condos tonight. I blame cooking. :sad: Hope everyone had a great day. I was hoping to get to some condos during my meeting this morning, but they had us doing team building stuff and small group s**t.
