Good Monday, Everyone,

Edward thought he smelled Lev. late last night, so we may have had a fur shot at PMPS yesterday. This morning was an "ouchie", Rusty pulled away, bent the needle, and Edward smelled a slight smell of Lev. I so hope it isn't back-to-back fur shots (again)! Poor Rusty was getting back on track and now is off track again. Pink is NOT his color! Oh well, on we go.

Today the beans are going to be out all day on a paddle, so it will be up to Rusty to keep his bgs reasonably steady. One of the carpenters will be here, working on the front door. I hope he gets enough done so that the door can be hung again.

Wishing you all a good day. Back in the late afternoon (this is a 13-mile paddle and the drive is an hour each way).

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) I am out the door early today, but wnated to wish you a good one. Enjoy the paddle!!! I hope Rusty comes back down, no fur shot that all was good and you will come home to great BG's. Right Rusty?

Oh well, you know why he is up and he will be safe while you are out all day. There is a bright side! ;-) Relax and enjoy the paddle.

Hi Ella.....Rats on the double fur shots. On the lighter side, better he be too high, than hanging out in deep lagoon, while you were gone today.

A good hard paddle is a great way to take out the frustration of a possible fur shot. Darn those things, and double darn possible back to back. But like everyone here said already, Rusty knows his way back to the lagoon and will be there soon enough.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for visiting Rusty today and cheering him on. I guess it wasn't a full fur shot this morning. His PMPS is high, but not fur-shot high. He ate most of the food left for him (saved some, just in case) and was very happy to see us when we got home, shortly before PMPS. The carpenter was still here, working on the door frame. All the priming has been done and he expects to finish the door tomorrow--weather permitting--and start on painting the new siding boards then, too. It's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow morning, but maybe the forecast is wrong.

We had a wonderful paddle on Little Tupper Lake, ("little" only to distinguish it from Tupper Lake, which is huge; "Little" Tupper is a good-sized lake in it's own right and is in a Wilderness Area, so no power boats are allowed. It is known for wind and waves, but today we only had breeze and chop. We paddled this long lake to it's south-west end, where there is a 2-mile-long outlet to Rock Pond, which was beautiful. Lots of beaver dams to get over, too. All in all, a fun day and a good workout. There were 12 of us on the paddle, all in solo canoes.

Rusty and I just had a schmooze and he is eating his dinner (2 hours late). I think he must have eaten some of the food in his automat shortly before we got home. Off to get to at least a few condos. If I don't get to yours, I will tomorrow.

Hi Ella - nice recovery for Rusty. I like that pmps. Your paddle today sounds great! I am so glad you enjoyed it. Excellent news to on your front door. I so hope the rains hold off so it can be finished.
