Yesterday all blue

Another hot and very humid day here, absolutely exhausting for all the beans and kitties, and the poor dog. Crystal is running a bit higher today but seems better than she did yesterday - who knows, perhaps as Tricia said in yesterday's post, it is the heat and humidity getting to us all. Decided to tweak her R dose just a tiny bit at PMPS up top 15u as I prefer lower blues and there is always the chance that her numbers will run away from me if I'm not careful.

Have had a busy day getting ready for visit tomorrow of Belgian GF for a week, might be MIA a bit over the next few days, she's pretty high maintenance in that I feel I have to sit and talk or entertain her somehow all the time, but she is an excellent cook so hoping that I can leave a few meals to her expertise ..... will try to look in as and when I can but keeping you all in my thoughts even if I'm absent. hope to bbl late tonight.

Vines and wishes to all in need - brilliant news on Neko, now we just need some good news for Cinco's CT scan tomorrow.
 
Hope Crystal comes back down for you. Hope you don't get too exhausted having company so soon after the others left. Hot and humid sounds exhausting to me.
 
One of our longer term members, Pip/Rupert, posted a few days ago, saying he had been higher during the hot spells we've had here. Sounds like your theory is a good one. The heat and humity has to be a drain on the bodies.

Enjoy the GF visit, and some good cooking. Always nice if you don't have to cook for a visitor.
 
Thanks for looking in Peg and Wendy. Well that little bit extra R seems to have worked, Crystal's bedtime +7 was 103. Just gave her a normal snack to try to keep her flat during the night.

Looks like we are in for a Tstorm tonight, hardly surprising, and a drop in temperature tomorrow so we should all feel a bit fresher for it. Poor kitties have been flopping down everywhere, trying to stay cool. Hopefully they will be happier tomorrow. Night all.

I am glad Crystal seems to be better than yesterday. You don't need any worries with a house guest arriving.
Hope you have a good time together. You will have to tell us about some of the meals she cooks (hopefully) for you.
