WCR: is feeling fine today other then being scared of my nieces computer that was here last night. She saw it and stopped dead in her tracks. She did the same thing this morning and then ran under the dining room table. Guess she doesn't like black computer boxes!

Gave us some yellows last night but was able to bring herself back down to blue this morning. It sure would be nice to see her stay a stead blue or green for awhile .. I mean, I know she has come a long ways and we are proud of her and her "vitamen" that are working, but if she could just stay one steady color ....

Careful....or Ronnie and I are going to start digging to find your old posts about being frustrated because Mocha is in the pinks!

ooh scary computers! Don't worry Mocha when I see my computer at the office every morning, it makes me want to run and hide too!

I know what you mean, now when I see yellow #'s I get all upset and worried. We get spoiled with those blues and greens

A Happy Low blue AMPS!!!! That is so beautiful Mocha! Wondering if you will be visiting the greens soon...you are doing a great job! Looking SO good!! :mrgreen:

hahahaha....there goes that "we're going to look for your old posts" threat! We do get spoiled with those nice blue and green numbers, don't we!

It is a beautiful blue number for Mocha today, tho!

oh trust me! I remember the days of pinks and yellows and pinks and yellows! I love seeing the blues and greens .. But I can't help admitting I would love seeing her a solid color for a week or two ...

:lol: Devon, I was thinking about that yesterday. Feeling a bit down, because Checkers backslid from a few months ago, I was remembering your old posts, and your frustration, and look how beautifully Mocha is doing now.
Way to go, mama bean!! :-D

it's so funny how things changed for mocha ... we really had given up on mocha ever becoming regulated, and OTJ was something we started cracking jokes about. We just assumed we would receive the award for most unregulated cat on this site!

One night, about two weeks or so after we gave up all hope on mocha, we decided to cut back one meal in her autofeeder and the next morning she gave us that pretty green amps. We both said, WOW! That diet really works :lol: then she kept cruising right along and we both kinda said to each other ... huh .. this is odd :? .. and then more greens and blues .. :o and dose reductions keep coming nailbite_smile we don't really know what's going on with this cat, but she is proving us wrong every single day ....

A little bit might be ok just so she doesn't dip back too low into 40's

I don't think she needs any HC....you can give her a little lc. I think it is ok to surf the 50's since it is late in the cycle. I would still check in 30 minutes.

It looks like somebody's pancreas woke up. :mrgreen:

Looks like she really did turn the corner. Congratulations. What exactly did you change in her diet?
 
well I hope she surfs here for awhile!!

Ann, we honestly did not change anything in her diet other then eliminate one meal through the night. She was getting fed 1/8th of a 5.5oz can of food 5 times a night, we took out her +7 meal and that morning she gave us a green amps. And she has been surfing there ever since! I did have a heart to heart talk with mocha and told her that even though she refuses to become regulated and she frustrates us to no end, we still love our sugar bear. It's like she waited till we had no hope, and then said SURPRISE! I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!

Every word of your post sounds so familiar to me (except cutting out a meal, but all of your emotions). It's amazing, isn't it? I told Jill and Sienne yesterday that Mocha is reminding me very much of another kitty who looks a lot like her. Mocha, it's ok to keep copying Lucy. :mrgreen:
