Good Morning LL!
(YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug have finally come to realize that they cannot sleep in on a Caturday - way too many Paw Prints Pizza orders to do yesterday. There was the OTJ party, and Maui's party and just WOW, LL orders coming in right and left. They may need to hire help! I had to shove them out of bed this morning - we have another OTJ kitty! COOL! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.
I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was catch up day, and I did get alot done. My to do pile has shrunk substantially! YAY! I spent sometime compiling some SS's for pool stuff for Nicholas, so we can figure out how I will juggle two boys and a pool schedule when I really need to be one on one with Nicholas. This is going to be a challenge! I also managed a couple of short walk/hikes too, all local stuff. We had rain in the morning, first time in several days. By afternoon the sun was out, and it turned our to e a very nice afternoon. I think we reached 80, with sunny blues skies, and a very nice sunset. Here are some photos that I took while out and about: More Meadowdale.
The kitties have been good kitties today, just very playful. We didn't have any dirt piles, or torn papers, just a TON of scattered toys.  Lola somehow managed to get a hold of a plastic tub that had at one time some cooked chicken cubes in it and was running around the house with it in her mouth, trying to figure out where the chicken was,. She could smell it, but... NO CHICKEN! So to relieve her of her misery I went to get it from her, but NOPE! She clenched her teeth on that thing and would not let go.   I even got a few very low level growls.   Her catch, and BACK OFF BEAN!       That was just to funny! I did eventually prevail. I had a chicken ceasar salad for dinner last night, and Bug decided that he was entitled to the chicken that was in my salad. It was such a Mannie moment, as he did that all the time: sit right next to me, paw on the leg, THAT look, and a few very soft meow's, and would bite into and take the piece in his mouth. Bug did the exact same thing last night. What a trip down memory lane. Thanks Mannie for teaching him how. Elsa has been good too. I finally made her vetty appt for her SR Wellness exam. She goes in next Saturday.
She had a good day yesterday - sunning herself out in the yard, in between naps.
Have a great day everyone. I hope to hike today, we shall see how I feel about that in a few hours, and also on how the weather is shaping up. We had morning rains yesterday, are due for a few today too, so.... I need to wait some and see how things develop this morning,. They keep saying sun, but well, who knows here. There are also a couple I am very anxious to do, but the temps there are on the 90's, and almost too hot. I may wait until we are into fall before doing those. maybe.... ;-)
