8/11: Cedric amps 204, +2 214, +10.5 200, pmps 217

After yesterday's constant rise in BG, I hope he hit bottom at 9pm (+3 for pmps) at 406. I got worried and gave him some fluids. I couldn't catch him in the L/B as I had moved the one down here back to where it belongs in my bathroom, but didn't move the sticks. When he tried to jump on the bathroom counter and couldn't, that was a sign to test his BG. Note I have "batchlor height" counters in the bathroom, but usually he can clear them. They are close in height to the ones in the kitchen. He fought me on the fluids, but I was able to get the needle in him. He's got a better number this am but I will check him again at 8am (+2) before I leave for work. I probably won't get home until 4:30, but will recheck. Fingers crossed for him, but we do go back to the vet again for another re-check tomorrow.

I tested him as soon as I got home, +10.5 (about 4:30pm) and he gave me a great 200. I went upstairs to change out of my work uniform, and he followed me up to pee. Score a negative ketones! Only negative was the problem I had getting him to swallow his Denamarin pill. My fingers are blue for 4 attempts. At least he took it....1 down, 2 others to go tonight.

Will meet the TNR lady to try to trap 4 cats tonight. Wish us luck.
Cedric has another follow up vet appointment tomorrow.
