Or, another way to look at is that all the times you've ever tested at +2 she was a little higher then. It could just be that that's how her personal curve goes. More data will tell, but in any case it isn't a concern. Mona's was higher at +2 once she was regulated, but before she was regulated and the dose was wrong she dropped from the AMPS right away.

Hey Nadine,

Calley and I are doing well. She vomited a bit today....but not buckets full thankfully. She has been sleeping on me while I watch TV in the late evenings....but I'm not sure if it is because she is relaxed or because she is wanting me to feed her. lol She is a funny kitty. Lately when I reach to get her EMPTY food dish....she bats at me with her paw as if to say "feed me woman....and NOW"

I am anxious to see signs of regulation...like lower numbers...but everyone says to be patient...that is not something that happens fast. But then I see all the wonderful posts of other members and their cats that regulated or even went into remission within weeks. And then I wonder what is wrong with Calley or what am I doing that is wrong? So it's an up/down kind of thing.

How are you and Tibbs doing?

I'm a bit depressed too...as my summer break from teaching is coming to an end and I have to go back to work next Monday. I love my job, but the end of summer is always hard....just as hard on us teachers as it is for the children. But after a week of the school routine...things will be fine again. ;-)

we are doing ok. the whole house is fighting some bugs. hubby & i both sick and 4 of the cats have the runs. ickkk. i guess i changed them over to better food too fast but they will b fine. i know what you are feeling about end of summer. i used to teach and yes u do get right back into the swing but it is def hard this time of year. what do u teach?

I teach PreK. I am also a Parent Educator and work with the parents. My older daughters, 15 and 17 are coming back home tomorrow after being gone for 11 days at camp and then at my brothers for a few days. My youngest daughter, age 8, and I have been enjoying the quiet house sans teenage hormones and attitude. LOL

My yellow lab died a month ago and both me and my black lab are still mourning her passing. It was so unexpected...she just died in her sleep. I had no indication she was anywhere near death. :( River, my lab follows me around looking for her. When I go back to school he will be home alone...:(

Sorry to hear all your babies aren't feeling well. :( Never fun.

I found Calley on the kitchen table this morning...curled up around the test strips and the monitor. LOL What does that tell you? :)

Kristin
