Yesterday.

Looks like Ruby was reading Butters’s condo yesterday because I woke up to find the auto feeder halfway across the kitchen. I heard some banging last night but didn’t think anything of it.

Day 2 of cat sitter. I gave him a tip to put the drop of blood on his nail to free up his hand to get the test strip to draw up the blood and he thought it was a good idea. We will see if it works today. Poor guy.

Hope Ruby floats down today or else we’re increasing tomorrow. Hear that, Rubes?

Have a good day everyone! :bighug:

Excellent! He must be happy about that. Now if Ruby would just slide down a little today, it will be a great day. Will he come at +4 every day? And what hour is it when you usually get home (or Frank) to test?

Frank will be home by +10 to test Ruby. I leave at +1 and don’t get home until +11. Not really sure when is the best time for the sitter to come. If she starts heading down as I keep increasing her dose I may have him come between +2 or 3, but right now around +4 seems fine. She likes to go lower at night so I’m home for that but who knows how long she will be doing that.

Still yellow at PMPS. Big sigh. Seeing the oncologist next week on Tuesday, when there will probably be more pred tweaking and bloodwork. Ruby's been doing well: eating, being a sweetie to me and DBF, fighting less with Olive, pooping every 5 days as is her pattern, fewer visits to the litterbox for pees, gained some weight, and no vomiting since a late night snack was introduced. Next weekend I take her back for acupuncture, as when she was going there her BGs stayed lower, but when work started up again it coincided with the holistic vet not working on Saturdays. I'm going to try the acupuncture regularly again and maybe that will have a positive effect and make these numbers go down.

I definitely hope it helps!
