NO syringe feeding for Rocket since last night. All things considered he is eating ok (not the greatest) but on his own.
That said....i noticed yesterday...he goes to sleep and it’s a deep deep sleep almost non responsive like....no idea if it’s cause he is sooo tired or if it’s a combo of the meds and what he has been through....i had to shake him to wake him up and give him his last med of the night....it scared me cause that’s how he was when this ordeal started...he was non responsive then....
This morning the banging of the blinds was on time! He ate everything that was left thru the night too....
His follow up vet apt is Aug 19 (soonest I can take him and when his vet is available)....he finishes the Baytril on Sunday....but if things don’t go as planned then I either take him to the ER or to his vet sooner....
Prayers are still needed....
BTW....i chatted with my mother in law yesterday and she briefly asked how the crew was doing....i didn’t get into details with her but all she said was “Gees....Rocket has used up all his 9 lives....i guess he has more than that!”....but the tone of voice is what i did not like..... it seems as though the more people don’t want him here the more he is proving them he WANTS to still be here!
Going home at lunch again to check on Rocket....
