well he went on last to stay blue for pmps and a +2 and then this ugly....... amps ughhh but he is doing fine with all P's in place and laying my his window ;-) update on DBIL he has been moved from ICU to TCU so making progress he can now sit up on his own and they have finally gotten all the excess fluid off his body and he can move his arms and legs again he was sooo huge with fluid so keep those vines a coming they are sure helping DH and I have not been able to visit this week since we both came down with some virus stomach thing and did not want to risk anything by visiting. So maybe when we get back from our trip he will be even better :mrgreen: as for our trip I am so nervous now about leaving Do Lou nailbite_smile nailbite_smile even though he is in super hands with my youngest DS that is still at home with us but this is only the second time in almost 3 yrs of him being FD that i have gone anywhere overnight so needless to say I guess this is why Momma Bean is getting wigged out already... But I know I need this trip so planning and packing and writing a LONG list of things to do :oops: ohmygod_smile we leave tomorrow night and get back on tuesday so this is a LONG time away for us anyway nailbite_smile

Oh wow Lisa, I had no idea your DBIL was in the hospital, sending some healing vines for him to get better.

Where are you going? I'm sure DL will do just fine with his human brother taking good care of him :-D

Yeah DBIL has been in ICU for 5 weeks until this week when he just was moved its been a long month.... and we are going to the Great Smoky Mtns I love to go hike there we used to make weekend trips there several times a year until Do Lou got FD and then it was almost 2 years before we went anywhere overnight together its just so hard to leave him even in the best of hands Mama Bean worries so over her boy plus he is so bonded and attached to me he often will not eat well if I am gone too long this area is only 5 hrs away so if my DS were to tell me he is not doing well I can just end the trip early and head home but hoping all will be ok he loves this son of mine a lot more then DH so I think it should be ok yeah you can see I am nervous look at me rambling on... :lol: :oops:

Morning Lisa - YAY! A trip!! and to the great smokeys! That sounds so nice. I am glad that you can get away for a while. I think all us beans need that. I know on the worry.. it is great that you have someone to care for Do Lou - what I would give for that. Enjoy the time!!

And Do Lou . Good job on finding the yellow floor. Could you bring Mannie with you?

Sending vines all around: to your DBIL to get better, to you to enjoy your trip and not worry too much about Do Lou, to your DS to have an easy and fun time taking care of your baby, and just general vines for everyone :mrgreen:

Glad you are getting a break! Sounds like Do Lou will be in great hands while you are away, maybe today he is reacting to your trip preparations and will settle down.

Hi Lisa, sending lots of healing vines for your DBIL. Glad all is well with DoLou. That's very positive hearing of DBIL's progress thus far. I hope you and DH soon feel better. It sounds like you and DH really need this getaway trip and how fun with the hiking. Do Lou is in wonderful hands with your DS, and as you say, if need be, you are only five hours away. Have a wonderful trip if we don't see you back here before leaving.

yes will make a condo tomorrow morning ( or its the plan) I may not if I am running behind and right now unsure if I will take my laptop or not honestly I lean towards the not since its just a worry in the hotel. And I am excited even with the worry part since yes mentally I really need to just have fun time for a few days

That's great, Lisa, if you have time for a condo. Then we can see how Do Lou is tomorrow. I know on the Laptop with travel.

Hi Lisa

I'm so glad to hear that there has been some improvement for DBIL. Sending lots more healing vines and snowflakes. Also hope you and DH feel much better for your trip. You are right...it's only five hours away and you can get home. Your DS has been around all this now and Do Lou knows him...even though he will miss his mama! Try to have a great time..this is a good chance to be close but still see how things go. Sending hugs and safe trip vines.

Do Lou...be a good boy for your mama so she doesn't worry!
