Omigoodness, blue amps...how exciting for me. :-D
Otherwise it's pretty boring, so far.
I think Himself is still sitting in the bathtub, waiting for me to come turn on a trickle of water.
I'm trying to break him of the habit, to relieve some of the wear and tear on his back.
Sheesh, he has a fountain, and 3 more water dishes to choose from. Too bad if his Highness has to drink from a bowl, like a normal cat.

I get to play with my new calipers today. I love new toys. :-D

Oh how cute with Checkers sitting in the bathtub waiting for some water. My GA kitty used to love it, too.

How nice with that blue amps. I love the blues ones - safe, but with potential for good numbers throughout the cycle. Go Checks! maybe so nice high level greens for you today?

Normal? What fun is that? :lol: :lol: I can so see him sitting in the tub, waiting.... waiting.... waiting... where is that bean!

Lol, Barb! Our Luca likes to sleep in the bathtub! He cries out for us to put blankets in it, and then he jumps in a curls up. And Henry likes faucets, too. Any faucet will do. Crazy kitties! :mrgreen:

Hi Barb,
Maybe you should get a set of steps for your bathtub! Nice to see that blue AMPS, and hope that Checks will be feeling good today.

Have fun with the calipers. Don't forget to measure from the plastic "stop" place (where the plunger stops when it is lightly pushed in all the way). The zero line is often inaccurate and does not coincide with this "stop" place. What kind of syringes are you using?
Once you get your measurement to your satisfaction and dialed in, you can lock the calipers and don't have to fuss with sliding them every time.

Ella, he has steps to the sink, which has a non-slip mat, from there he steps onto the hamper, into the tub, steps down on the sewing stool, and has rubber-backed throw rug to get out on, if he chooses to jump out.

The only thing left, is to keep him out totally. :-D

Thank you for the advice on the calipers. I haven't had time to play with them yet.
I'm using a pharmacy brand of syringes, and vet tech just gave me a batch of Relions to try. I think they are more accurate.

WOW!!!! What an interesting bathroom set up you have going on there Barb!!
I thought MY two were spoiled....but look at the lengths you have gone for Checkers!!! LMHO!

I think you need to sit him down and fill him in on something. Leaks from faucets are defects. It is
"Call the Plumber" time or change the washers if you know how to do it yourself.
Drippping water is a defect!!!!
Dripping wter wastes water and should not be allowed to continue.

You are such a good Mama Bean. (uh...but good luck with trying to break him of the habit. I think it may be too late for that!!) :lol:

Pat, faucets are not defective, they get turned on, only when the head of household demands it. :lol:

I do it because he drinks more, and all the extras are because he shouldn't be jumping with his bad back.

Hi guys .. well that blue certainly was a nice starting point! I hope this is as high as he goes .. he hasn't been blue for a good bit, so maybe these recent blues are getting to him .. but he can turn this around! Look at checkers digs! Boy, I better not let my girls see that .. :-D have a great day!

Yes Barb....I realize that your faucets do not leak...and that's why it's so cute that you turn them on for him! LOL! Even with his waterfall and everything else, he still loves the dripping faucets....you are such a good Mama! :lol:
Raja used to play under the kitchen faucet when she was a younger kitty too. It was SO cute! She can't climb up on the counter anymore though so that habit never continued.....I have videos of the memory tho!

Hi Barb, I thought I would try and visit a few kitties today, and of course their beans.

Your bathroom is so funny, it says a lot about the kind of mama bean you are. I do the same stuff, and the "non spoil your pet people", just don't get it! :lol:

Ok, Checkers how about some more of that blue there, K?

That's so true. Those who don't "spoil" their pets just don't get it. One of my cats loves to sit in the bathtub after I take a shower so she can lick up the water from any puddles left. If the bathroom door is shut, she comes and meows at me and leads me to the bathroom door and keeps meowing so I'll open it. Of course I have to open it for her.

Hopefully Checkers will come back down to blue for you soon.
 
Come down Checkers! That's not a nice color for you! Clear the bounce quickly, it's a Friday!
Of course a dripping faucet is not the same as a water fountain! Checkers is smart!
