If he isn't eating enough, his tummy may be more empty then usual and he might be getting acidy tummy. You could try a little regular Pepsid. If remember right, it's 1/4 of a 4mg tablet once a day around bedtime. I hope he feels better soon. Eat your fuds, Belle.

Kitties will not want the same food after they throw up.... just like us.
You may have to find some different flavors/brands .
It becomes a bad association.

i don't have any Pepsid at home, but I have Tums tablets, would that work too?
i can powderize it.

i tried giving him FF (but he has kidney issue as well), and boiled chicken breast, but he is still not interested
i til his head up and put some food right down his throat ... he swallowed

no on the tums.... i'm pretty sure it's only pepcid ac. The original kind only.... not with extras.... there are many different ones on the shelf.

Do you have any baby food ( meat only, no gravy)
lunch meat
would he eat a scrambled egg?
cheese?

we hv never needed any of those, so i don't know them well, what are the options for Pepsid/pepcid ac ? i could go to target tomorrow.

no baby food either, he has kidney issue, so he can't just eat anything, he ate a little FF on his own.

he hasn't really pooped for a few days too, maybe he's constipated.

you can put a little plain vaseline on your finger and put it on his palate.... he'll have no choice but to swallow it....
or you could use some butter.... daily....

this onehttps://www.amazon.com/Original-Str...ount/dp/B010VDVJD2/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20
https://www.amazon.com/Original-Str...UTF8&qid=1502423348&sr=1-6&keywords=pepcid+ac
avoid the maximum strength and the complete version....

1/4 of a 10 mg tablet....

keep trying to get him to eat something, even if it's not diabetic friendly....

and start really watching for that litter box visit....

a scrambled egg is good for kidney issue..... it's low enough in phosphorus....
it's worth trying....

lunchmeat, just not ham since they add sugar....

cheese... is pure protein and it's okay to have a little...

if he'll eat it, that's what you need right now

I would get another test if you can and are still up. Just because you gave a BCS, his numbers will probably continue to drop. He has the depot of the higher dose in him and the BCS may not affect this cycle that much, also with him not eating as much. I would try to get him to eat whatever he will eat, and some higher carb food might help him surf more rather than dive and bounce. Good luck. I'll be keeping Belle in my good thoughts and prayers.
