Bouncing from the 60s last night. I don't like being in the high 50s, low 60s at +2 the last few nights. Feeding him at that point straightens it out but the pressure of whether he'll eat is stressful. I wonder if this dose might now be a little too strong? If I hadn't added in that early +2 check and didnt feed him a meal until +2.5 he likely could have went below 50.
This morning we're back to his usual slow appetite. I'm guessing it was more the influence of the gaba rather than the fluids, as he would still be feeling the effects of the fluids now I think. Maybe ill consider a trial of gaba 30mg bid as she suggested. Per the vet's suggestions, im also gonna try without ondan since his poops seem to be a part of the equation. This morning I only gave half his usual dose. I guess I can try adding in cerenia if his eating seems to get even worse without it, I've just had troubles with him vomiting cerenia up many times.
