Good morning LL and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Look at that green! Woohoo! POO DISCUSSION SO BEWARE OF TMI: Tarragon has been scooting and we had his glands expressed Tuesday. Well he was still scooting and having problems pooing. When he does poo, the first half is normal and the last half is pudding poo. I talked with his vet last night for about 1/2 hour. He thinks there is probably an issue with T's IBD flaring. We are upping his metronidazole to 1/2 a tablet every day instead of every other day to see if that will help out. He also wants us to add mirlamax - 1/4 teaspoon at each meal and adjust from there. For all of you out there who use it, is that the dosing you started with? T's vet is WONDERFUL so I don't doubt him but just wanted to double check. We may up the metronidazole again depending on what happens.

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

WOW! Look at that amps! Very nice Mr T. You surf well today.

Hope all with be well with the IBD. I am not too sure on the Miralax, but that does sound right. I hope someone who uses it will chime in.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Aw, poor T! I hope the extra metronidazole helps. We don't have any experience with it, but I have no doubt someone here does! Personally, we use a heaping 1/8tsp Mirilax BID with Frankie for her unpredictable constipation issues.

Sending "the return of good poo" vines your way! Have a great day, Melissa!

Wow Mr. T! Just look at that bootiful AMPS number! I've seen other wonderful numbers lately too!!!

Hi Melissa! Hope it's cool there too! KT does pudding poo when his numbers drop, the lower, the longer it stays. I've started using Propectalin to harden his but that's just for wierd KT! We also have a civie with 'not quite megacolon' and motility issues, he gets 1/4th tsp Miralax twice a day but he's an 17lb cat (3 pounds of that's likely poop).

HUGS!!! Yard dances too!!!

  You go, Mr. T! Lookin' fabulous on a Friday!!!! So Shasta's poop has been very similar to T's...first half is good and second half is loose. Shasta's hasn't been pudding poo, but definitely softer and the whole thing is smelly! Oh, and one instance of butt scootin', but she did have a mad dash the other day that lead me to believe she had a dangler!! Hope you can figure out T's poo problems!! Happy Friday, Melissa!!
