hi all,

Rocket had a better night last night... Though his appy is not the greatest...had to syringe feed him thru the night...

AMPS 272 gave 2 u

just syringe fed him too. Gave his subq and he ate chicken dust on his own...this is an improvement (almost back to normal here as he loves chic dust while he gets fluids)...will try another subq session tonight I gotta make sure not to over do it cause of his heart murmur...

Still slow walking. Looks pretty tired. No more peeing himself.

We'll see where this day takes us

Rocket's appy sucks!!!

i worry now that i won't be home tomorrow....i have had to syringe feed him since last night....

DH had a clever plan.....about time!!!!.....since Rocket does not take syringing from him....he will go pick me up at lunch tomorrow to bring me home (driving time less than 10 mins each way)....so that i can come home and syringe feed him his lunch....that would mean Rocket would have an out the door feeding.....at 7 am....and then food again at lunch....and then when i get home at 4ish (provided i don't have to stay longer at work with all the deadlines we have).....

DH can only do that tomorrow....so at least one day is covered....sucks when i can't get anyone to come feed Rocket....no sitter no vet tech no neighbour no nothing....

DH is off tomorrow but will be out and about and can pick me up at lunch....but the next day he is back at work....and can't go pick me up to do the same thing....not feasible for him....

prayers still needed and much appreciated.....

i have been trying to get caught up on my sleep....my neck is extremely sore from sleeping on the floor next to Rocket the last few days....even with pillows....

currently he is on his bed on the balcony and has been there for 2 hrs or so....he asked to go out....and i went back to sleep after i told him it was ok for him to go out only if he let me syringe feed him some food...he wasn't a willing participant this time.... :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

i managed to sleep 2 hrs straight while DH and Rocket stayed on the balcony.....Comet however is pretty slow today...i guess his tummy is still upset....he has such sensitive stomach and with his many allergies....

oh these kids are gonna do me in.......

Glad to hear Rocket is a wee bit better today! And also that you got a little bit of sleep.

i have now posted in the CRF group for guidance

he threw up again....don't know if it's from upset tummy from the Baytril....

waiting to hear what they have to tell me....

i may need to change his med schedule again :(

syringe fed him some food....

i'm emailing the vet with what has taken place over the weekend....i'm asking for injection form of either pepcid or zantac....

Claudia - this is the first chance I have had to read condos. I am so sorry you and Rocket had such a bad weekend. Thoughts and prayers are definitely coming your way from us. ((((hugs))))

WE MAY HAVE A NEW ISSUE....

THE BAYTRIL MAY BE LOWERING THE SEIZURE THRESHOLD.......so the phenobarbital may not be working :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

can't seem to get a break here......i'm very emotionally upset....i go back to work tomorrow and i'm worried sick....
