Hi all! I haven't posted in quite a while. Here's my last condo.

Rex has been consistent with his numbers. He seems to prefer the 70's and 80's. He did have a 65 yesterday so I was happy! :D

I finally finished cleaning out the basement. Unfortunately, I found a fresh spot that I immediately cleaned up. Rex is no longer peeing in the other places he was consistently peeing in. I still have pee pads in those spots, just in case. The box I used in his "bad" places is now in the last spot before it finally joins the other boxes.

This morning, I was extremely upset with Rex. I had just checked his bg. Then I turned around to start prepping the food bowls. I looked back for some reason and caught Rex peeing on top of my DH's kayak bag!! It was a big puddle, too! He has a fetish for peeing on plastic or plastic-smelling items. :arghh: I cleaned up the urine and sprayed it with our enzyme cat spray. I hope it won't smell as it's not a cheap bag!

Just as I thought things were settling down, now I'm dealing with possible IBD or lymphoma with my hypothyroid cat, Tanner. He lost more than a pound since last September. The only big change was the switch from dry to wet food. He is a very, very slow eater so I sit and wait until he's done (I make sure he comes back and eats more as he likes to walk away then comes back) so it's about 30 minutes start to finish. He eats about the same amount as the other cats. In a day, I go through about 20 ounces, give or take an ounce. Keena's weight stayed the same. Precious went up a few ounces. Rex is about the same, but he could stand to lose a couple more pounds. Tanner is the smallest one. He was at 8.79 pounds last summer and now he's only 7 pounds and 5 ounces. :( His bloodwork came back normal. Any suggestions or advice?? :bighug:

My kitty Ginger had hyperthyroid. She got the i131 and I am anxiously awaiting her 90 day post treatment blood work this Saturday. I found a good group on Facebook called Hyperthyroid Cats. You might want to take a look and join.
Sending get better vines to Tanner.

Thank you. I'm already in that group. But I go to a hypothyroidism Io group for advice. I see your posts in there. :)
