Ravan hasn't been doing well. Diarrhea off & on for a few weeks. He also stopped eating for a while.
I reached a vet & had blood work done. She examined him & said his stomach felt OK no lumps.
The blood work came back OK also ?
Vet advised I wean him off any meds. He only gets 1/4 piece of amlodipine. His blood pressure never seemed accurate. Several different people tried taking it & it was was always all over the place. I wondered if he really needed the meds. After a few days of weaning him off it, he does seem to feel better. He's back to eating his raw meat diet. I give him a probiotic, Boulardii. It helps to stop the diarrhea.

He's also been wanting higher carb canned food. Alice gets high carb because she's so thin & he eats some of hers . It's raised his glucose but I'm trying to get him to eat, so for now I'll let him have a little.

Hope everyone is enjoying August! Summer will be over soon! For me time seems to be moving faster & faster.

You have a beautiful garden. Raven's numbers look good so if he needs a little higher carb food, to get him to eating again, I would do it. I'll bet he will eat better when he is off the meds. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon. Hope it is not as hot in Chicago as it is here in Florida.

Beautiful flowers. I'm glad Ravan is eating better after taking him off the amlodipine. I hope the S. Boulardii clears up the diarrhea. Sending prayers.
