yesterday
Morgaine had such lovely low blues all day yesterday and then she climbed after her PMPS. I even fed her very low carb food last night hoping to avoid a higher BG in the AM but she was 216. I am frustrated but I think it may have been a fur shot. She has thick fur and I always wonder about that so who knows. We shall see if she comes down today. Meanwhile I need to cut her fur where I give injections on both sides of her body. I am using the 5/16 syringes which are tiny and I always pinch the skin up and make a nice tent but it is hard to know what is going on with numbers like that and very thick fur.
We did have a lovely day yesterday where there was no PD/PU. It was nice to see her back to normal. I know we will get there but it is frustrating to be doing so well and then to lose it. I also know you have all been there. Wish I could give her some Humalog to bring her down but I know it is not possible to do such a thing. Humalog onset is 15 minutes but it is powerful insulin and not appropriate for kitties.
