Not a bad start. The fact that he's stayed under renal threshold 99% of the time since I started the Lev, amazes me.

For Lucian, I couldn't ask for more. Still trying to fine tune his dose, as much as I'm able.

Have to leave in an hour for my atty's, some sort of meeting with WC. I dunno, but this stuff stresses me out and sends my 'anxiety meter' 'red lining'. Be glad when it's over. They may have decided to offer a settlement. I just hate dealing with this stuff.

It certainly looks like Lucian and Lev agree with each other. One thing that I have found with Lev as opposed to Lantus is that it takes longer for them to settle on a dose, and that it is uncommon to have a few spikes along the way.

Not going to give much dosing advice at this point until I have time to get back on long enough to go over spreadsheets and posts to get myself up to speed.

OMG are you back Mel?? Missed you so!

Lucian is doing much better, only on the Lev about a week, but the difference is amazing.

Just got back from atty's and out the door in 45 mins to go to PT.

I love how much better Lucian seems to be doing on the Lev. It's absolutely amazing.

Gurrrl! Amazing doesn't describe it! I've told everyone I know, how much better he is on his 'new' insulin. (these people wouldn't know one from another, so I just say a different kind of insulin) :lol:
His nadir may still be hard to pin down, but not a crap shoot like it was. Still wish I would know within 3 hrs, but oh well, take your blessings where you get them.

Of course, I'm still learning how he responds, etc, so I'm not comfortable yet and still skittish to leave him some times, because of that 'floating' nadir, but it's getting better.

Talking to Momofmuse for months, about the differences in Lantus and Lev, before her pc blew up, helped me a lot or I'd have had no knowledge of what to expect. Watching her with Autumn and reading her posts about how Autumn was reacting, etc, did a world of good for us, gave me some idea. More so than the Lantus. We got thrown into that with the vet, with NO info whatsoever.

So far so good, don't want to tempt fate, for sure. :thumbup
