Yesterday-Another lagoon visit!

Ok, so there's evidence on the counter that Luci's parents forgot to put away the cornbread
:eek::eek::eek:
It was in a ziplock bag - but left on the counter - and there apparently was a mid-night raid and SOMEONE had to get up there and rip the bag open on the side and it also appears she may have had to sit on the bag to hold it in place while her teeth worked at ripping open the ziplock (these are heavy-duty ziplocks so it did take some effort to rip that big hole in it to get at the cornbread!) :mad:

She was probably disappointed that it wasn't cake or one of her other favorite forbidden treats - like my fresh bread from Costco...This girl...what a little thief she is!:facepalm:

And on another note - Happy Wednesday - sending hugs and vines to all the other kittehs here in L&L land...hope you have a better start to your day than we did...:bighug:
:bighug:

She keeps sliding down, down, down...it's getting late for her nadir, but I'm hoping the 'cornbread effect' is wearing off...maybe just taking her a little longer to get to the lagoon? I she doesn't make it today, maybe tonight...maybe tomorrow? :D But these numbers are pretty good for her - after the episode with her eating contraband - again. :mad::mad:

I never see anyone else writing that their cats have eaten people food.:eek: Why is that? Do they not try to get into people food or is everyone very careful to put all the people food away?:banghead::banghead: I wish Luci didn't do that..bad habit of hers prowling the kitchen at night looking for stuff to get into - bad, bad girl!:(:(:(

You must not see some of the condos. o_O

I wrote one time about finding a Hawaiian sweet rolls bag torn into and pieces of 2 rolls gone. I had forgotten to put it on the counter from on top of the microwave on its own table. Cats aren't shy about jumping up on that table, but they do not go on the counter for some reason. :rolleyes: Rex's BG was fairly high that morning.

Well, at least now I know it's happened to someone else...I don't get to look at all the condos all the time...:) When was that? He ate TWO entire rolls! WOW! Impressive...Luci only eats a small amount...but enough to mess up her numbers...I think she would have made it to the lagoon today if she hadn't eaten that darn cornbread...she's been doing so well!

With all the pieces missing, I'd say Rex ate one roll. He just wanted to taste 2 different rolls to see if they taste the same. :smuggrin:

Errrrrr, ummm... Alex was partial to coconut cake! Nothing like seeing your cat's head buried in cake and then have her innocently look up at you when you entered the room... frosting and coconut all over her face! :eek:

This happened not once, but twice............................

You're so funny Sue! I think you were the first one to laugh at me (and with me :p) after Lou's spiced curry drumstick incident.

I really try to keep food put up, but Scooter has gotten a few licks of something a few times, but I guess he hasn’t gotten enough of anything to really run his BG up. I have a worse problem with drooler, Jessie. She has Cushings (also makes them hungry all the time) and a very sensitive stomach. DH left a new loaf of bread in the middle of the kitchen island. There’s no way she could reach it, but the empty bag was in the floor when we got home. Apparently civieToby pushed it in the floor for her (Scooter is in his own room when we’re not home). Another time I left a boned out chicken carcass pushed to the back of the counter in a plastic container. I was going to dump it down in the pasture in the morning. I got up and found the empty container in the floor ( Toby helped again I’m sure) I never ever give my fur kids chicken bones. I watched her poo like a hawk for a week.
