8/1 LOOSE LIPS: another day at the pool....

Good Morning LL (LOTS! L just love ), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA THURSDAY!!! Lola and Bug like Tuna Tuesday so much that they want to make this Tuna Thursday too. I dunno.... but the tuna is flying here. Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, andCappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all his fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle...SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with apple and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

SO GLAD that the Board is up and running again. Thank you to whomever worked on getting us all back online.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Nicholas and I were off to the pool. It was nice to have his mom make some of the pool time. It was a good day in the pool - he's been so hyped up about it the past few times, more so than normal. He really enjoys the play time when the older kids will include him. some do, some don't. anywyas - nice swim stuff, back to trying the side breathing. That is too funny. He sees the older kids do it, so he tries. LOL: got a way to go... !! Erin made it for the last hour. that was fun. he got to show off. Lots of "mommy!!! Watch me!!" The slides really got a workout yesterday. Whatever seemed to be the issue with the hot tub last week was resolved, so he was able to get some "deep water" stuff in too. One happy kid! We hit the trails after that, blackberries are a-plenty now: big fat and juicy! YUMMMM! Picassa links: Swimming, and Berries!

Kitties are well. Lola is being Lola, still raiding the recycling looking for kitty fuds cans, still running at warp speed, still riding the frig door, still uprooting my plants, Gotta love her. I came home to another LOLA MESS on Tuesday night! :roll: :roll: :roll: I had vacuumed, ya know the kind of vacuuming where you move everything and get all the dust bunnies and the dirt piles from Lola's plant digs, well just all the DIRT. oh sure..... I guess Lola felt that wasn't right so she made me new dirt piles while I was gone. :roll: :roll: :roll: I know it was her.... she had a few dirt specs still on her head. :lol: Let's see... she dug up three plants and had dirt flung, yes flung, onto end tables and sofas. so.... I got to vacuum again. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: She got a lecture and then after her lecture she puts her paw on my hand and gives my hand and arm on a longgggggggggggg lick. ;-) How can one be mad after that? As I type this she is sitting on my lap, all curled up, purring away. Sheshhhhh, and you gotta love it. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!! Yesterday I took this video of her on my lap, as she played with the camera strap for my now fixed camera. There are some still photos in there too: LOLA Elsa has been one good girl. She is such a mellow thing for an old gal. The days have been so great weather wise that she spends alot of them out on the deck or in the yard, soaking up the sun. It so reminds me of Mannie, makes me smile. Bug still spends his evening hours curled up on my feet, on the sofa, when we watch whatever it is on the TV. I like that time: his and mine alone. I love cats - aren't they great?

Have a great day everyone. It is a Nicholas day today, and we are off to a river. I just need to decide which one. ;-) Weather should be OK today, some morning clouds, with afternoon sun, maybe 65 at the rivers. it should be a good day there. SWEET! I will try and get to condos when I can.

That Lola is such a cutie. I love her face. In some of the photos she looks like a little mouse. It's wonderful that each of the 3 Muskateers has a special time with you.

Michelle, have a good time at whatever river you and Nicholas visit today. I'm glad that even though the big pool isn't available he's having more fun at the pool now that he has made friends with some of the older kids. He'll be side breathing in no time.

Hey Lil Bit,

So glad that we missed Wacky Wednesday! I was concerned that a dirt pie would be coming my way and that I might end up wearing it! Phew! Dodged that one!

Since it's Tuna Tuesday, err Thursday I'd like a nice big pitcher of tuna juice - no chunks and 3 tuna pies! I love tuna juice, it's my favorite part of Tuna Tuesday, errr Thursday.....now I'm all confused what day it is - how about we just make it TPIF instead!

Hi Michelle, so nice Erin and William could join you and Nicholas at the pool. Cute pics of all of them. I have to check the Lola pics yet, as my puter wpuldn't bring them up. I think I had too many things opened.
Elsa, love the coffee and Cappucinos and thanks for bring me three tuna pizzas. Lola and Bug did good with them.

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and I had a blast today! A river day, followed up by a visit to the trains in Snoqualmie. What a day it has been, i don't think we stopped from 7 this morning until I dropped him off at 4, at his home. We did alot.... We ended up at the Snoqualmie River, over by Twin Falls, as it was supposed to have the most sun, a little warmer temps, and we haven't been there in a while. I shall laugh, we get there and it is fogged in. So much for sun that the weather dudes said would be there at 10. it was warm though, maybe 65. The fog did lift, but we never really did get any sun. River was great - level is down some, so we did find several places where he could get out in it. And he did. Found a couple of new access points too. Lots of river wading, boot flooding, a few butt sits in the river, soaked shirts and jeans and socks, and more than his fair share of rock throwing. What I would call a successful day on the river. He just loves it so there. Since I had a little time, as I was dropping him off at his home, we stopped in at Snoqualmie and visited the trains there. This was where the Thomas the Train event was. So of course he was looking for Thomas. He found all the box cars and passenger cars, but alas, no Thomas. LMAO: he concluded that Thomas was in another city: Gold Bar ( a small town off of HWY 2 that has tracks bordering the town). HAHAHAHA. too funny. No doubt be looking for Thomas the next time we go through Gold Bar... he never forgets a thing. I will post the Picassa links to the photos and videos in tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Hi Amy - I do! I agree - they are all unique, very special individuals. I agree too on Lola's ears. love those, and her big long fluffy tail. LOL: Mannie would have been jealous. well maybe not. He did think the world of his pom pom. ;-)

HI Carla - I too am glad that Erin could make it. She misses being able to watch nicholas, so this was extra nice for her. oh ye son Lola.... and I couldn't stay mad at her. Not when she was so sweet after. ;-)

Hi Ann - THX on the pics, and yes, I too was so glad that Erin and William could join us. THX to on her pics - she really does love play - nonstop with her, and then she jut sits down and falls asleep. Kinda funny. THX on today - the river was great! We had a great time!

Hi Ella - THX on Lola. I agree on her face. it caught my eye when we first looked at the photos online at the adoption center, before we went there. She has that look about her, and then there are those ears! love the ears! THX: I agree too: they have each found their own time. it is really nice. I so agree too on the pool: he's adjusted, even when he talks about the bigger pool. a month to go on that one. I'm glad that some of the older kids will let him join in their play. It's been nice. OH YES on the Board!
