Whoa, what a ride yesterday was :nailbiting:
Low green bgs for most of yesterday and overnight.:D
I think it was the longest she stayed in that range. Shocked no bounce last night but we shot low and stayed low.
It was great for her (other than more more poking than she’s used to) but not so great for me in that I fed her constantly poked her lots more and didn’t sleep overnight so that was rough :blackeye:

She’s bounced up this morning with a pink pre-shot so we’ll see where today goes and how she recovers from the bounce after such lower numbers for her.

Wow! That was quite a ride of greens! Awesome! Now hopefully she comes off that bounce and stays consistent like that again for another round (preferably in the 60 range). ;)

Great job managing the low numbers! But you must be exhausted!
Ivy has come a long way. Her body is more tolerant of normal BG range!
I think that's a great progress, Staci.
It just has to become less dramatic so it won't interrupt your sleep-wake cycle!

HI Kit, it was a really tough day! I am a bit relieved she's bouncing a bit today as she (and I recover).
Yes....we need to get her to stop with the EXTREMES....so she can just coast safely and I can sleep :blackeye::blackeye::blackeye:

That must have been so exhausting Staci! :eek: Also after having the sleepless night on monday. And shooting so low must have been scary too. Incredible, what you are doing for Ivy!!! But why is Ivy such a drama queen? There must be something in the middle, right? I really hope you can rest somehow. Your health and wellbeing is as important as Ivys! Sometimes as you say a bounce is a blessing as you get a break

Great questions, Heike! Ivy has always been a drama queen. She’s always been very feisty and lets us know when we are permitted to touch her or pick her up (she’s doesn’t really like that).
She complains loudly if you do something she doesn’t like.
However, she will climb on top of me and knead and purr and be completely loving. But it’s when she decides. It’s her way and on her terms o_O
She tolerated me more than anyone. And she permits DH to pet her and get close. But she will also tell him when she’s had enough. (We all have battle scars from her) ;)

Last night was rough. It’s just the sheer exhaustion of not sleeping that I find so hard.
And yes, I’m constantly seeking the right dose of just low enough and not too high. The middle is what we need to find for her and for me to have the stamina I need.

Hi Diane, yea, it was a long day and night. Just hoping for some sleep tonight to recover.
But she’s already getting busy and it’s not even +2. Sigh.

Hi Shelly, thanks for your support. We really appreciate it. It’s been tough. She’s not easy and I wish we could get her more regulated so we didn’t have these wild swings.

Ivy is such a great role model for setting boundaries! :) If I have guests, some try to pet Binie without having her consent first. I always give some warnings but some people are very confident about their knowledge about pets. Most of the time Binie teaches them, to be more humble. :facepalm: I'm sure you have similar storys to tell about Ivy.

I keep all my fingers crossed you find the magic dose for Ivy! Thank god the weekend is near and I hope you find some time to rest. :bighug::bighug:
