Green last night! Woot, woot! A bit of a bounce this morning, but I'll take red over black with Floyd any day.

Hi, I wanted to ask if you think your kitty is doing better on Levemir? I just switched to Levemir & I'm amazed at his Bg coming down finally,& on less insulin.
Do you have any idea why you can use less insulin with Levemir?

I think that just depends on the kitty. I know some have reported less bouncing with Levemir, which would definitely help with lower numbers.

For Floyd, I didn't notice a difference in bouncing or numbers between the 2. The only difference is that Lantus made him lick the hair off his flanks where I was giving the injections. The hair grew back after switching to Levemir.

For an accountant this is hard to say but yes I like the red better than the black too on Floyd.

I found Neko was bouncier if she went more than 5 days between greens. Hopefully it'll be the new normal again for Floyd soon.
