Been a wonderful night with China. She curled up next to me, nestled into just the right place, purred for about 30 minutes at the top of her Purr O' meter and finally drifted off to slumberland, perchance to dream. Even with all the "hassle" this sugardance involves, it's brought my relationship to my China to a new level I had forgotten we had at one time...before kids, other cats and life got so involved. For quite some time, she was my only one and we spent all our time together. I thought she'd just gotten older, more independent, more grumpy and didn't "Need" me as much. I couldn't have been more wrong, and I understand much clearer now that the difference wasn't so much hers, it was mine.
Diabetes can be a frustrating and crazy thing to deal with, but it will also be one of the most rewarding times in your lives. Just my opinion of course
I'm not real happy about my schedule today...have to leave within minutes of getting a +2, and could be gone up to 6 hours or so..and she seems to be on a mission to come on down. I guess I'll just see where her numbers are at +2 and then adjust what I do depending on that number. I'll always leave some LC down if I'm gone, but have occasionally left a little MC down for safety when I have to be gone and her numbers are dropping.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday, and we're sending healing vines out to everyone who needs them!
